Chapter 37 - Wu Tianyu's Insight

Amidst the internal machinations and constant cyberattacks, Wu Tianyu, Liang Chen's very capable and trusted secretary, stayed calm and efficient. While others gave in to the growing stress, Wu Tianyu carefully watched every change in the business world, always looking for patterns that weren't obvious. His constant watchfulness brought a new, troubling development to Liang Chen's attention. Instead of just defensive postures, he had to focus on finding an outside aggressor.

Wu Tianyu started with "Mr. Liang," and then gave a short, data-rich report in Liang Chen's office, his voice steady and professional. "My analysis shows that Evotech Solutions' market aggression has gone up a lot and in a strange way over the last few weeks." He talked about their aggressive pricing strategies, how they suddenly moved into Horizon Tech's most important client areas, and even how they tried to steal important employees in a sneaky way. It wasn't just normal competition; their moves were too planned and too precise, almost predatory, which was different from how they usually do things, which is more cautious.

Wu Tianyu's understanding, though, went beyond just numbers. "The timing is... strange, sir," he said, looking Liang Chen in the eye. There was a hint of worry in his usually blank eyes. "Their increased activity is directly related to the recent problems with our network." It implies either extraordinary opportunism or, more disconcertingly, a profound connection. It looks like their market actions are meant to take advantage of our internal problems and attack us when we look weak. He didn't have any proof, but his gut feeling, which he had honed over years of watching corporate wars, told him that the attack was planned.

Liang Chen listened closely, and his face got harder. He had complete faith in Wu Tianyu's judgment; his secretary had an amazing knack for seeing the chess moves behind the market changes. The report made a scary possibility clear: Horizon Tech wasn't just defending against a few attacks; they were being attacked from all sides. Evotech Solutions, which used to be a distant competitor, was now clearly seen as a major new threat, and maybe even one that was working with the enemy. Liang Chen realized then that his fight was much more complicated than he had thought at first. He needed to come up with a plan that took into account both the unseen digital enemy and this new, more aggressive market rival.
