"It was… interesting," Zaila said slowly.
Caius nodded with a chuckle.
"Yeah, it's often a whole production," he said and took his hands off her before stepping back a bit as he continued,
"Still, I think that was enough for a proof of concept to give you an idea of what can be."
His tone was suggestive and heavy on implication that Zaila understood perfectly; Now that he was no longer touching her, she… missed it. It was like being on a narcotic high. Or more accurately, it was like being on the precipice of an addiction. There was something very memorable about this experience, something that made her want more, and if she chose to indulge, Zaila had a strong feeling that the desire would only grow stronger. That addiction would only get worse.
There was no denying it now; The vampire had been telling the truth.
