"you can drop me off here Audrey, head on home, thanks for the ride" Robin said, Audrey wanted to argue but she was too tired to deal with her friend now and hence drove off.
Robin walked the path towards the beach she wanted to free her mind and have a good rest for tomorrow and the sea, wind and beach sand always did the trick, as she walked she took off her heel and walked bare foot on the sand, she smiled at the thought of what happened, 'he thinks I'm his Robin, his? When was I ever his' she said to herself with a little annoyce.
She almost reached home when sudden flashes of memories started flowing in her mind, memories she hated, flashes of a house, a mansion, a man, tall, young with black hair and brown eyes, the flashes of blood and screams, she fell to the ground shaking vigorously, she knew the memories, she lived those horrid time, but why did it suffer, she cleared everything so why now....
After that breakdown she had her bath and was a little calm with her face being red with tears from before, she made contact with the hospital she had done the erasing of memories to alert them that the memories are back and booked an appointment. Resting on the bed now she realizes how lonely she was without her mother or father around, she wanted to escape such a world but somehow that world gave her confidence and comfort. She made few notes on her phone and slept off.
Las Vegas
Axel Andrew was sitting in his garden tending to his flowers, he heard a knock at the door but didn't turn nor did he look concern, his face was calm, gentle and peaceful, his light brown eyes looked lazily at the flowers as he tended to it, he had deep black curly hair which was neatly cut short, his face went well with his muscular body and after a long time of knocking without hearing any response Albert decided to go inside.
Axel didn't still turn but spoke, his voice filled with authority and power, "any news?" Albert stood shaken a bit but he knew one wrong move could land him dead right now, "father of peace greetings"
"Forget the formalities go straight to the point" his face still looked calm. "No, but... "
Axel was holding his throat tight, choking him, his face no longer calm like before the action was too fast for Albert to comprehend, he looked fierce too cold and out of emotion, it scared Albert because he knew what this monster could do. "B...but.. I have heard rumors" it took everything in him to bring out this before he was out of breath, Axel released him onto the floor with a loud thug, "what rumors?" he asked as he went back to sitting, "we heard that the young lady is now in Chicago running her father's business" Albert said and got up from the floor.
"Oh I see, so she run away from me, to go be a little princess in her world, huh, interesting, you can leave, we won't be bothering her for now, let her enjoy her last freedom" Axel said with a cold smile. Albert knew Robin was meant for doom the moment she escaped.
Robin woke up to the rising sun and lovely noise of the sea waves, she loved these little things the most in the morning, she got up quick and decided to refresh for the she had lot of work to do at the office today.
"She's coming"
"Why did she came this early today"
"I know right she always reports at 8:30"
"Oh maybe it's the contract she got, she's probably making preparations towards it" the workers who saw Robin walk in that early morning couldn't stop themselves from gossiping about it.
"Excuse me, are you guys going to keep gossiping or you are going back to working" Audrey said from behind startling the workers, quickly they dispersed leaving Audrey there alone as she waited for Robin.
"Good morning" Audrey said
"Morning" Robin replied.
"we have a meeting at 7:30 with Mr Kai Auther from Nexus innovations and at 10:30 to 12 noon we have a presentation for the new idea for the company. Then at noon lunch, that's all for the afternoon, later we have to travel to the sites for photos for our clients from Proxima partners" Audrey briefed Robin. "Thank you for the info, I will head to my office and prepare for the meeting" Robin said and moved on to her office she had a lot of thinking to do, and with the memories coming back she needed to do something quick, she didn't want to be hunted by the pain anymore, at least not now....
