In the middle of the night in a village
"Knock knock knock ".
A moment later
"Who?"
"Knock knock knock "
Opens the door....
Couple of days later....
Few people going to a rural village far from city. To say it's far from civilization is wrong because this village has all the basic facilities. The people of this village should have been hospitable towards people coming from big cities but, people in this village were wary of outsiders. They are looking at the newcomers as if they were walking disasters.
Shima "Why are they looking at us like some plague?"
Himu "They are wary of us. "
Shima "But why are they wary of us?"
Rina "Maybe that's your imagination. They are just curiously looking at us. We are coming from big city after all, and they think we are some mighty being. That's normal don't think too much."
Shima "still, don't you think their stares kind of looks off?"
Their vehicle slowly made way towards a house. Although the house is situated in the village is quite decent. The two-storey house looked quite out of place in compared to other houses in the village. When they saw the interior of the house all of them was stunned. To say the house was built by some filthy rich person as a seaside villa won't be an understatement. It was surprising to this house empty.
They are all happy to be able to stay in a mansion like house in a village. The guide told them to pick their room. After choosing their rooms all of them gathered in the living room. Their guide was telling them about some rules they should follow during their stay there.
There was one particular rule that they were required to follow at all costs. And that is not to open the door until someone knocks more than three times or calls more than three times. While they were felling confused about it, they heard something more absurd. Not to wander about at night. All of them came from city and they were used to stay out till the middle of the night. But they are asked not to do so in the village.
As city raised person, they were curious and asked about the reason behind that. The guide Suren started to tell them about the reason.
Suren said, "as you all are coming from city you may not believe this, but all locals follow this rule."
Shima asked, "why do they follow this weird rule?"
Suren "because hundreds of years ago some accidents happened because of opening the door before three knocks. You are supposed to stay here only for a few days so you should absolutely follow this. Also don't go outside after ten in the night. I'm telling you this for your own safety. Also you should stay in individual rooms."
Himu "why?"
Suren "so if one of you try to do something daring you won't end up harming an innocent one. Although I wish none of you would do something so foolish that will push you to deaths door."
