Shortly after the commotion, the people that made the killing retreated in a swift manner.
They came and disappeared like the passing wind. To make matters worse was the fact that not a single guard had come forth to capture any of the killers.
The crowd was also standing in their position, with some even commenting about the death sentence being a pity. They weren't expressing it out of sympathy, but rather, out of selfish desire.
