Chapter 41 - 41

It was Joseph!

In addition to the surprise, the jealousy in her eyes became stronger. She didn't expect Emily to sit next to this man all the way.

"Joseph!" Abigail smiled at him gently and greeted him.

Joseph didn't even look at her, but just said lightly: "Close the door!"

"Huh?" Abigail was stunned for a moment, then reacted and immediately got into the car, listened to him and closed the door.

Now, it was the driver sitting in the front who was shocked. How could this woman misunderstand the master's meaning and ask her to close the door instead of asking her to close the door after getting in?

In order to prevent the young master from getting angry, the driver got out of the car, opened the door, and said to Abigail: "Emily., please get out of the car!"

Abigail still looked innocent: "Why get out of the car, Joseph and I still have something to talk about!"

"Get out!" Joseph's cold voice suddenly sounded beside him, with a frightening aura.

Abigail's face changed in fear, and she looked back at Joseph.

This man, when angry, the lines of his side face were tight, so handsome!

Just as she was being crazy about him, the driver pulled her down.

"Emily., you should be glad that you have a sister, otherwise, based on your behavior just now, our young master would be enough to make you live a life worse than death!" The driver said in a low voice, then turned back to the car and drove back to the main house.

Abigail was so angry that she stomped her feet on the spot, what was lucky, what a sister!

Get out!

She cursed in her heart, but she didn't dare to really curse, because she couldn't afford to offend Joseph just now.

She had only chosen two men in her life, one William and one Joseph. She was always ready for both. As long as she didn't get them, she would chase both of them together.

But William broke up the marriage, and now Joseph didn't seem to be doing well.

When she returned in high heels, Christopher, who was originally going to get angry at Emily, was in a good mood in the living room because he had just received a check for five million from Joseph and Daniel.

"Dad, Emily is back. Have you forgotten that she deliberately hid outside these days?" Abigail reminded deliberately.

Butler Bai was also there, sitting opposite Christopher at this moment, drinking the coffee brought by the servant.

Emily was also there, of course. She looked at the check in front of her father and the money-loving smile on her father's face, and felt mixed feelings in her heart.

Christopher certainly wouldn't forget, but Daniel was there, and now he had a lot of money, so he was more pleased to see Emily back.

"Dad, I'm going upstairs to sleep!" Emily saw that her father didn't seem to be blaming her, so she got up and prepared to go upstairs.

Christopher did not embarrass her, and nodded for the first time and said, "Well, go to bed early!"

After Emily went upstairs, Daniel, who was drinking coffee, said to Christopher, "Your little daughter looks like a lucky girl for your father."

"Lucky father!" Christopher was immediately interested when he heard it: "Cousin, can you tell fortunes?"

Daniel nodded: "I know a little bit, but I usually don't make mistakes!"

Abigail listened to it and was very dissatisfied. She said, "How is it possible? She is hiding a sum of money now, and she is unwilling to give it to honor my father. Even if she is really rich in the future, she will not be good to my father!"

Daniel seemed surprised by Abigail's statement. He glanced at her, but said to Christopher, "There is a long way to go, and we will know in the future!"

Emily took a bath and went to bed.

Since she met Joseph, except when he went on a business trip to Japan and was not at the manor, this was the first time Emily slept alone in the main house not far ahead, knowing that he was in front.

Because she had to go to work, Emily got up early and went downstairs.

The servants seemed to know that she would get up early, and breakfast was ready.

Emily smiled gratefully at the servants. Christopher, stepmother and Abigail would not get up so early. She finished breakfast alone and picked up her bag to go to work.

As soon as she went out, she saw Joseph's car parked there.

She was surprised in her heart. She walked over quickly, opened the door and got in the car.

"Did you sleep well last night?" As soon as she got in the car, Joseph's magnetic and warm voice came over.

Emily turned her head to look at him and said with a smile: "It's okay, how about you?"

He sat comfortably beside her, but he was noble and elegant, revealing his innate elegance.

"Not good!" Joseph's deep eyes swept over her pretty face, and there was a hint of dissatisfaction in his voice: "How can I sleep well without you!"

Emily's mouth twitched slightly, and his voice was low and mellow, like a cup of fragrant wine poured into the air, and suddenly the whole car was filled with an ambiguous atmosphere.

"Tonight, do you go home to sleep, or do I go to find you?" Joseph turned to look at her and asked.

Emily didn't know how to respond for a moment. Under his eyes that seemed to be affectionate, doting, and full of deep meaning, she heard her heartbeat strangely disordered again.

"Well, let's sleep separately, okay?" Emily looked away and said in a low voice.

"Hmm?" Joseph's voice seemed to come out from his nose, with a hint of displeasure.

The driver in front couldn't help but frown. He had been with the young master for many years, and he had no patience in such a situation where he was very frugal.
