Chapter 3 - New World

Yuru walked down the stairs that led to the main deck of the ship. Everyone on the main deck seemed to be staring at the breath taking sunrise.

Yuru couldn't blame them he was also drawn to the sunrise when he first saw it. Yuru walked off the bottom step and arrived next to the crowd of people.

"There's no way around" Yuru thought to himself as he began to towards the crowdcof people.

He had seen from above that there was no way around the crowd so he committed himself to going through the crowd.

"Excuse me" Yuru said entering the crowd of people. He started to slowly walk through the crowd trying his best to not bump into anyone.

The crowd kept moving and shifting making it harder to move through without bumping into people.

"Sorry, sorry" Yuru accidentally bumped into a woman wearing a blue puffy dress with red designs on it.

After a minute or two of squeezing through the crowd Yuru made it out of the crowd. He ended up in front of the off ramp which is what he wanted.

Yuru stepped up to the ramp which was around 60-70 feet long. It wasn't to steep which was nice because tripping on the ramp wouldn't be fun.

Yuru began walking down the ramp hid thoughts begin to wander.

"Why are my hair and eyes different colors? What is up with that guy trying to kill me? Where am I?" Are all questions thar Yuru wanted answers too.

He knew that he had Transmigrated because he died he wasn't stupid, but that didn't explain any of his questions.

Yuru reached the end of the ramp, as he was about to step off he was stopped by a man in a green uniform and a clipboard.

The man looked at Yuru intensely before extending the clipboard and a pen. "Would you like to leave a review about your flight?" The man asked if a gruff voice and a soulless tone.

"No thank you" Yuru said politely declining.

"Thank you for you consideration" The man said in the same soulless tone as before.

"He sounds like corporate slave" Yuru thought as he walked away from the man. Yuru hade met some of his mother's coworkers and those who had been there for years had the same tone as he did.

"It's like a train station" Yuru thought to himself as he looked around. The air ship dock was basically a train station but further up in the air.

"I wonder.... there's one" Yuru had a thought that if it was a giant train station there had to be a ticket booth nearby, after briefly scanning the area he saw one it was the size of shed.

Yuru walked up to the ticket booth and rang a little bell. Yuru hoped that he could a travel panflet or something that could tell him about the area.

"Hello how can I help you?" A well dressed man appeared from a side door inside of the ticket booth.

"It's my first time here and I was wondering if you had any informational booklets" Yuru said putting on his best tourist voice.

Since Yuru had only seen tourists in TV and movies his voice sounded like he was going through puberty.

"Give me a second" the man said crouching down and beginning to rummage through things below the counter.

"Here it is, forgive me we don't have many people asking for these nowadays." The man said handing Yuru a small booklet.

"Thank you so much" Yuru walked away to find a bench or something where he could read.

He found a bench only a couple feet away from the ticket booth, he sat down and opened the booklet.

He discovered that he was in the city of Riskmov in the nation of Novaka. The city is home to the largest knowledge sanctuary in the Novaka nation.

There was a picture of the knowledge sanctuary in the booklet, it appeared to be a giant round structure.

"Would that be a library?" Yuru asked himself as he read about the knowledge sanctuary.

After skimming the next couple of pages he felt that he got all the useful information he could out of the booklet.

"I wonder if this world has magic or if it's just steampunk stuff" Yuru began to walk towards a staircase that led down to the city.

"Maybe I should go check out that knowledge sanctuary thing" Yuru thought as he started to walk down the staircase.

The city below was huge, from what Yuru could see it was bigger than any city he had ever seem on earth.

In the far distance there was a giant round tower like structure with a domestic on top.

"That must be that knowledge sanctuary" Yuru stopped walking down the stairs instead just staring at the building.

It was the size of football stadium with a what looked like a marble dome atop it. It seemed to be supported by pillars with designs carved into them. He was to far away to see the designs but he could tell they were there.

"There's no way I'm walking over there. maybe they trains or trolleys I could use instead" Yuru began to walk down the stairs.

It took a couple of minutes to descend the stairs fully. By the end of it Yuru was sweating, even though it was early in the morning and slightly chilly out.

Now that Yuru was on ground level he could truly appreciate the city, even though he couldn't see as much of the city as he could before it was still absolutely mind blowing.

Yuru stood at the bottom of the stairs taking in the city streets, while also catching his breath.

The street was filled with shops of all kinds, clothing shops, food stalls, general stores, etc.

Each shop was labeled with signs, the words written on the signs were like nothing Yuru had ever seen, for some wierd reason he could tell exactly what they meant.

To left of the staircase was a small shop with a sign above the door that read "Magic" in a wierd font.

Yuru intrigued by the store decided to go inside and have a look around. Yuri walked towards the shop and walked through the door.
