'Wake up Gema. You still have a lot of work to do,' a voice resonated in Gema's head.
She reluctantly got out of bed.
What an utterly annoying voice. When I get my freedom back I'll make Morgot chop of his own—
Gema paused as she stared at Shin and Satel wrapping their arms around each other like a loving couple.
"Are you fucking with me," she swore under her breath as she hid herself.
And there goes my plan. Great now what will I do.
'It seems your appeal has become useless now. Why not just transform and brute force it?' the voice asked in a mocking tone.
Gena rolled her eyes,"I'm too weak to the all on my own," she responded.
Gema clutched her chest as she felt a firey stabbing pain pierce through it.
'I can always do it myself if you don't want. Just say the word,'
"Wait wait wait! I have another plan," Gema cried out.
A few moments passed and the stabbing pain stopped. Gema let out a sigh of relief while the pain lingered over her as a warning.
'I expect a pleasing response from you then,' the voice said in an ice cold tone.
Gema nodded as she walked out the room and up to the captain's quarters.
Damn goddess, now I really want Morgot dead.
She enter the room and found the captain resting. Silently she walked over to him and bent over, closer to his ear.
In a seductive and alluring voice, she whispered a incantation in his ear which manifested in the form of pink chains made of mana.
All the chains wrapped around the captain who woke up startled. Just before he could make sense of the situation the chains sank into him and his eyes began to glow pink before he plopped onto the ground.
"Getting closer to Shin is going to be difficult. But atleast I have a few days to do so, as well as a whole boat full of men," she said in glee.
"Maybe having this calamity mark wasn't so bad after all—," she paused.
The captain's body began twitching before upbruptly standing upright which brought a smile to Gema's face.
Step 1 done. Now for the next step.
"Oh captain, what is the most dangerous predator in this river?" she asked.
"That would be an Azure thunder crocodile malady," he responded.
"And how hard would it be to find one?" Gema asked again.
"Incredibly hard. Since they have no natural predators and low food supply in the river, they mostly explore the forest beside it or just hibernate for eleven months," The captain responded in a robotic voice.
Gema clicked her tongue as she flicked her wrist causing the captain to collapse.
" Well great now I have another problem,"she said rubbing the sides of her head.
She stared into the roof of the room for a few minutes trying to remember any piece of information Morgot had told her about Shin's group.
" Aha! Bael. Morgot said he was supper strong, maybe I could lure the crocodile using him as bait," she said.
Gema got up while smiling and looked out of the window, staring at Shin and Satel.
"Enjoy it while it lasts love birds," she said in a sinister voice.
