Shin walked up to Yama and pulled him close. Yama began vomiting up the blood that had welled up in his throat.
"Father! Are you alright?!" Satel called out anxiously.
Shin looked at Yama as he nodded.
"He's fine. He just can't yell for now!" Shin responded.
Shin helped Yama up as they both turned their backs to Ezra and began walking towards Satel and Bael.
"Thanks for helping me out Shin," Yama said, still struggling to breathe.
"Don't push yourself, cause I can't have you dying with Satel watching," Shin responded.
Yama chuckled but quickly groaned in pain. Ezra tried moving but her body was unresponsive.
Her brain screamed for every muscle to move but they couldn't support themselves or move with broken bones.
Move goddammit they're moving out of your reach.
Ezra internally screamed at herself but her body was unresponsive.
'Well I must say you did shock me. The fact that you achieved a state even my angels haven't is quite impressive but ultimately useless if you just die like this.'
Ezra paused. Tears began flowing down her face. She closes her eyes one more time.

Ezra wakes up in a void. She glances around looking for life and lands at a figure infront of her.
"Marrow," She calls out, extending her hand forward.
Marrow approaches and holds her hand. He kneels and pushes back her hair. Ezra starts crying but Marrow wipes away the tears.
"I told you that I was going to protect you, so why did you agree to Morgot," Marrow asks still wiping away her tears.
"I just wanted to show that I can be useful. I wanted to be someone worthy of your love," Ezra blurted out crying.
Marrow continued wiping away her tears. He pulled her close and they embraced in a hug.
"Why would I not love you. I told you all those years ago that I would protect you no matter what," Marrow said comforting Ezra.
Marrow stood up and helped Ezra up. He held her hand tight and turned away. A door appeared behind him and opened up into a dazzling bright room.
" You don't need to suffer anymore, so let's go into paradise and live happily ever after," Marrow said as he began walking.
His grip on Ezra's arm loosened and he let go and stopped. Marrow turned to the now uncontrollably sobbing Ezra.
"I'm so sorry Marrow, I can't follow you. I'm too far gone to stop now. I hope you can forgive me," Ezra said as she turned and ran into the endless abyss.

"Forgive me Marrow but I can't stop now," Ezra murmured just loud enough for Shin to hear.
Shin goes pale as he turns back to look at Ezra. Her hand was already up in the air.
What the actual he-
Shin was cut off as Ezra forcefully grabbed Yama and squeezes. The broken bones in her hand impaled Yama making him scream in pain.
"I will not lose," Ezra proclaimed in a deep and distorted voice.
Shin stared in horror as time seemed to slow down. The moment stretching longer than it should have been.
He quickly glanced at Satel and saw her and Bael running up to Ezra. She was crying.
They won't make it in time.
Shin glanced back at Yama. Blood was gushing out of Ezra's hand as Yama fainted.
Mov-
Without even realizing it, Shin had drawn his sword and lunged onto Ezra's body. He ran up to head.
He raised his arm, the blade igniting in blazing flame. In a swift motion he slashed at her neck.
Blood sizzled, flesh cried out as the blade made it's way through her neck, severing her head from her body instantly.
Silence, followed by a loud thud as Yama fell onto the ground. Shin, face pale stood over her as he stared into her soulless eyes as her last tears fell onto the earth.
