[Damien's POV]
Halting at the palace that looks strange to me, I stared at it for some minutes with a coy smile on my lips.
I wish she were the first to welcome me, but then I should give her just a few hours to be on her own.
Her own? It's just a few...hours right? She'd be back.
I took my phone, wanting to call her when it's just an hour that she has been away and it feels like eternity already.
I should have put a tracker on her. No, I trust her. I shouldn't act all toxic; I should focus.
Besides, I only need an heir from her right?
My attention was drawn outside when I heard a knock on my window. It's Dayla.
I heaved a sigh, gently opening the door as she moved away for me to get out.
"Your majesty" she salutes with a courteous smile and a bright face.
I closed the door, leaning on it, and then spread my arms just so she fell into me.
"I missed you" she mumbles, resting her chest on me while I stroke her hair gently and then kiss the crown of her hair.
