Chapter 11 - CHAPTER 10: The Ghost of Isabella (and The Garden of Death)

A tale of memory, guilt, and the burning return of Heaven's wrath.

The Pit of Memory – Alexander Falls, Jason Rises

INT. THE PIT OF MEMORY — ENDLESS DARK

There was no light here.

Only the haunting breath of a cold that didn't touch the skin—

It wrapped around the soul, clawing with silent blame.

Alexander stood alone in fog so thick it swallowed his heartbeat.

No sound.

No ground.

Only the weight of something broken inside him… and the ghost of what he never said.

Then—

A whisper. Soft. Familiar. A knife disguised as a lullaby.

"Alex…"

He turned.

And there—bathed in a field of white lilies, barefoot and smiling like nothing had ever gone wrong—

Isabella.

Not changed.

Not scarred.

Exactly as she was the day the world broke.

ISABELLA:

"You came back to me."

He stepped forward, tears welling like glass in his throat.

ALEXANDER (barely breathing):

"Isabella… is it really you?"

She reached for him—

And he reached back—

But just as their fingers neared—

Her smile twisted.

Her eyes turned pitch black.

The lilies around her ignited, burning from stem to ash in seconds.

ISABELLA (voice fractured):

"You let me die."

He stumbled.

ALEXANDER:

"No… I tried—"

ISABELLA (cold as a tomb):

"You froze.

You watched.

You ran."

The fog wrapped tighter.

The light vanished.

And from behind her, something stepped forward—

A demon wearing her voice.

Her face.

Her pain.

MALEKTA'S VOICE (echoing like cracked bells):

"She screamed your name… and you did nothing."

Alexander dropped to his knees.

No axes. No strength. Just shame.

DEMON-ISABELLA:

"You call yourself a hero?

You're a boy who broke when it mattered."

He closed his eyes. Whispered through broken teeth—

ALEXANDER:

"I loved you...

I still do."

The demon raised its claws.

And Alexander didn't flinch.

ALEXANDER (softly):

"Maybe I deserve it."

But then—

A voice cut through the memory like lightning cuts open the sky.

"MOVE!"

A blast of blue light shattered the fog—

And Jason dropped in like a vengeful star, twin swords humming like justice reborn.

JASON:

"Get away from my brother!"

One clean slash—

The demon cracked. Screamed. Turned to ash.

He dropped to his knees beside Alexander.

JASON:

"Hey. It's not real.

Look at me."

ALEXANDER (shaking):

"It felt real…"

JASON:

"I know. That's how she poisons you.

Guilt. Regret. She twists it."

Alexander looked down.

ALEXANDER:

"I watched her die.

I couldn't save her."

Jason clenched his fists.

JASON:

"You didn't fail.

You were human.

And you carried that moment like a chain for years."

"But you didn't get this far to drown in the past."

"You're not the legend. You're not the rage.

You're my brother."

Alexander's eyes closed.

The silence pulsed—

And then—

his axes returned, glowing like burning hearts in his hands.

ALEXANDER (rising, voice cracking with power):

"I lost Isabella once.

I'm not losing you too."

He turned—his eyes bleeding red fury.

ALEXANDER (growling):

"Let's go find our sister."

🌪️ SCENE 2: The Garden of Death – Venessa's Trial

INT. THE GARDEN OF DEATH — TIMELESS REALM

It was not quiet.

It was pretending.

Venessa stood barefoot in a vast, broken garden—

Paths of white marble twisted beneath fields of black flowers.

Statues lined the edges—

All of them were her.

All of them were cracked.

VENESSA (softly):

"This place…

I know this place."

A single tear traced her cheek.

But she wasn't trembling.

She was remembering.

☁️ FLASHBACK – 10,000 YEARS AGO

The sky over Heaven bled crimson.

Angels screamed. Demons laughed.

And Venessa stood at the gates of a cathedral made of pure light—

Wings blazing, sword alive in her grip.

She was a general.

A lightborn.

The only one to look at Heaven's chosen mortals and say—

VENESSA (past self):

"They're human?"

ARCHANGEL:

"Not anymore.

Heaven has chosen them."

And she fought beside them.

And she died beside them.

And now—she had returned to rise beside them.

BACK TO THE GARDEN

One statue moved.

Then another.

And another.

They fell from their pedestals—stone Venessas twisted into corrupted mockeries.

STONE VENESSA (cold):

"You're a disgrace."

Venessa summoned her blood-light—

It flickered.

STONE VENESSA:

"You lost your grace.

Now you cling to broken boys and forgotten blades."

They attacked.

⚔️ THE FIGHT BEGINS

Venessa dodged, rolled—

Her bloodlight fired blasts of red, but they shattered on marble.

Six versions of her now surrounded her—

Each one snarling her doubts back at her.

"You were stronger as an angel."

"Now you're just mortal noise."

"You will never rise again."

They charged.

She screamed—a blast of bloodlight pushed them back.

But then—

The voice came again.

Not theirs.

Hers.

"Because you haven't forgiven yourself."

She dropped to her knees.

And for the first time—

Saw herself.

Not the angel.

Not the fighter.

Just… Venessa.

A girl who failed.

Who fell.

Who chose to get back up.

VENESSA (whispering):

"I don't have to be what I was.

I just have to be enough… now."

Her heart pulsed.

Her blood ignited.

She stood.

And the statues shattered.

💥 SCENE: Jason and Alexander Arrive

The gates exploded.

Jason and Alexander stormed in like gods of fury and flame.

ALEXANDER (roaring):

"Venessa!!"

She turned—

Glowing.

Bleeding.

Alive.

VENESSA:

"You found me…"

They ran to her.

But before they could reach—

The sky split open.

Malekta descended.

💀 SCENE 3: The Scarlet Cage – The Mother Descends

She came like a storm of bones and roses.

Her feet didn't touch the ground—

Her presence did.

MALEKTA (calm):

"Not yet."

She raised her hand.

A sigil exploded beneath Venessa.

ALEXANDER:

"NO—!"

And she was gone.

☠️ INT. PRISON WORLD – THE SCARLET CAGE

Venessa woke in chains.

Floating in a sky made of shattered glass and eternal screams.

Below her—

A twisted New York burned on a loop.

And in its heart—

Her mother.

Bound. Crying.

Alive.

VENESSA:

"That's… not possible…"

MALEKTA (voice wrapping around her like smoke):

"Oh, but it is."

⚡ SCENE 4: Jason and Alexander Descend

A rift tore open.

Jason and Alexander fell through—

Into a land made of hate and memory.

They saw her—chained. Screaming.

They saw her.

Malekta.

The queen of rot and ruin.

💔 THE REVELATION

MALEKTA:

"Heaven lied.

She's not dead.

She called for you.

And only I answered."

Alexander roared.

Chains lashed out.

The brothers slammed into crystal pillars, locked down.

MALEKTA:

"I don't want your deaths.

I want your surrender."

"Give me your weapons.

Your memories.

And I will give her peace."

🩸 THE CHOICE

Jason trembled.

ALEXANDER (weakly):

"She's alive…"

VENESSA (screaming):

"Don't you dare!"

MALEKTA:

"You, Lightborn…

Once you were flame.

Now you are flicker."

"Join me.

Let me give you a purpose again."

⚡ THE BREAKING POINT

Venessa remembered:

Jason giving her his coat in the snow.

Alexander teaching her to fight.

Their mother's voice.

And she said—ENOUGH.

Her chains shattered.

Her body ignited.

VENESSA:

"I'm not yours."

She raised her hand—

Bloodlight and angel fire merged.

The prison exploded.

Jason and Alexander were freed.

They hit the ground—together.

And the world trembled.

☁️ DIVINE POWER – Heaven Returns

Venessa's wings spread wide.

Jason's eyes lit like blue stars.

Alexander's axes crackled with lightning.

JASON:

"You hurt our mother.

You hurt our sister.

Now—you bleed."

MALEKTA (grinning):

"Yes… finally.

Let it burn."

They charged.

She opened her arms.

And the final war began.
