Kai actually had no idea where he was going, but he knew what he had to do. He could sense multiple divine individuals present in Demonica, and between each barrier was an even greater divine individual.
"What do you need to do?" Torrigan asked, not knowing that Kai had going on in his brain.
"I have to beat the enemies who are within this barrier. They are part of this trial I'm facing."
"Trial?"
"Yes. My father is having me go through trials in order to become a primordial god, or I guess return to that state since I was born as one already."
Torrigan nodded. She didn't quite understand what he meant, but she understood it to a degree.
"Do you know what your trials are?"
"No. But if I had to assume, my first trial will be saving Demonica. My second trial will be for me to become a primordial. And my third and final trial will be for me to fully kill my brother."
