Kai admitted that he was slightly bummed. He was looking forward to the date. He even dressed nicely. So, instead, he took Janna out and they had a blast. But unfortunately, she had to go since she was one of the Key figures of the festival and had to make sure the place was secure.
Now, on the day of the festival, Kai was not impressed. It was just an overglorified science fair and talent show in his eyes. The festival was simply a place where people could show off what they've learned over the semester, and where clubs would show the reason why they could be fun to join.
