Thousands of applicants were lined up, taking their entrance exam, trying their hardest to pass the test. Some people couldn't even make it to this step if they didn't pass the first test, which was filling out their information.
A lot of people didn't know that the information they wrote down on the paper that was given to them was a part of the test. Normally, it would take a few days for a background check to be done, but because Janna vouched for Kai and because he had his Hunter/Adventurer's license, he was able to move on to the next step faster than normal.
"Your number is 2187. When they call you, go up the the platform and they will instruct you on what to do. I'll be here watching you since I was the one who handled your paperwork."
