The inside of the room was dark and creepy. The light from the outside wasn't able to penetrate the room because of a magical barrier, and if it wasn't for Kai's night vision, he wouldn't have been able to see the contents of the room.
"The fuck is that?" He muttered to himself, walking into the room.
"The fuck is what? What are you talking about?" Amaya pulled at his arm, but Kai didn't budge.
The girls followed closely, making sure not to go past Kai. They hid behind him and peeked their head out occasionally.
"Is everything safe?" Gwen asked with a whisper as she squeezed Kai's arm tighter.
"Dunno? Do you think a spirit residing in armor who is sitting on a chair is dangerous?" That wasn't sarcasm. He was being serious. He had no Idea if that spirit was going to attack, so he approached with caution.
"Kyana, can you talk to it?" Nadya asked.
