Kai, Gwen, and Amaya walked through the crowd, everyone stepping aside to let them pass. No one wanted to get on the bad side of them after seeing what Kai had done to Carl.
"They're avoiding us," Amaya whispered
"Yeah, no shit. Did you see what Kai did? Some of them are freaked out." Gwen looked around, and people turned their heads to avoid making eye contact.
"At least we won't have to worry about people messing with us." Kai pointed out.
"Yeah, until another person does."
"Excuse me, but may I speak with you three?" A person asked, walking up to them.
He wore a button-down suit that resembled something a butler would wear. He wore a monocle and held a book in his arms.
Kai sighed, not feeling like dealing with another annoying bastard. All he wanted to do was take on some quests, rank up, go sightseeing, and then leave the city.
'But everywhere I turn, there is some annoying bastard who wont leave me alone.'
