As morning came to the demon realm, Ilwoo stepped outside his dorm, his disheveled hair and bloodshot eyes. The first thing he saw was Istella, still waiting outside.
CREAK!!
"Good morning, Istella."
"Good morning, Master Ilwoo."
Ilwoo forced a faint smile before heading toward the classrooms. As always, Istella stopped at the edge where the building appeared.
The hateful stares of classmates lingered on him, but without much care, he walked inside.
Linar sat in his usual seat. When he noticed Ilwoo entering, he waved to his friends, while Ilwoo exhaled quietly and made his way down the stairs to join him.
"Man, what happened to your eyes? They're red as blood. Did you stay up all night?" Linar asked, eyeing Ilwoo's condition as he looked at him worriedly.
