" Alright, it worked!"
Zeke exclaimed, seeing through one of the Immortal system's hidden intentions. Thrown off by the option of possibly denying these rewards. He had a hunch that the final grade would still be liable to change if the user held off on finalizing their decision.
Seizing the opportunity to right his wrongs, Zeke utilized his past knowledge. Relying on his Demon's Breath and unique physique to rid himself of the blood centipede influence.
Satisfied that he was proven right, Zeke wondered who the Great Immortal Ito was, finally pressing the "Yes" button.
Soon, a message appeared explaining how this and future rewards would be sent to his storage box, which could be located in the status window.

Zeke then accessed the storage box, where he selected the item that most interested him. Instantly appearing out of thin air, The Great Immortal Ito's Fragment was a fractured turquoise medallion, holding no significant power at the moment.
However, he figured that this medallion would not show its true worth until all three pieces were collected.
Zeke returned the mysterious fragment, saving it and his "full heal" for another time. He then chose the option to use "recover memory". In his previous life, it took several months to piece together his scattered memories. Now he had a shortcut to help fill in the blanks of this particular altered reality.
Soon Zeke's past experiences poured into his mind like a rushing waterfall. Leaving him with a splitting migraine afterwards, he compared and contrasted the world settings of each Zeke.
' So, I'm still the son of that bastard for a father!'
Zeke thought as he was unable to hide his anger. Reliving his past in a flurry. Zeke discovered that he had been raised in The Hidden Cave of Untold Shadows since he was a baby. Differing from living in the Samus Estate.
The Hidden Cave of Untold Shadows was a perilous environment where assassins were brought up and trained inhumanely. They would replenish their ranks by accepting criminals on death row or kidnapping children from various locations.
Even though he recovered his foggy memories in an instant, they were still important information that still alluded Zeke, being just an unknowing child at the bottom of the totem pole.
Only able to go off the rumors and gossip that Zeke was abandoned by Sang- Li. A famous, 9th Circle, Arch Mage who hailed from the Samus household. Zeke was astonished that his birth family was now known for magic instead of martial arts.
' Tsk, a lot of things may have changed, but I see that he and that damn family are still up to the same old dirty game.'
Zeke frowned while pickpocketing the corpses for anything of value. Acquiring some hidden daggers, kunai, shuriken, smoke bombs, and an empty spatial pouch, he came across a note tucked away on the man he had first assassinated.
" Dear Uncle Lee,
I'm writing this letter of apology for not rising to your expectations thus far. I would also like to thank you for taking me in after my father's death. I promise to make him and you proud in time!
From your forever grateful nephew, Kei. "
Finished reading, a thought came to Zeke's mind.
'Ugh, just my luck that this bum held some connection to this Master Lee fellow.'
Zeke grumbled, knowing this so-called master from recollecting his past encounters. Master Lee was the reason he found himself in solitary confinement. When refusing to kill an unarmed captive to commemorate him joining a new class of assassins.
However, uncharacteristically, Lee didn't have the blood centipede devour him from the inside. Valuing Zekes' family lineage and the potential behind it. He instead ordered him to be thrown into solitary confinement to reflect on his actions or suffer death.
Being confined for a few days with no food or water.
Zeke stood back up, sheathing the short sword inside the plain scabbard, placing it on his waist while wondering how he would handle this situation in front of him. When the Immortal System presented a new task.

"Have fun? Psst, Yah right. Anyways, at least the rewards offered seem worthwhile."
Zeke spouted while eventually coming up with an idea on how to handle this, Master Lee character.
Meanwhile, somewhere inside The Hidden Cave of Shadows, a man sat on a throne with purple hair that reached his chin, alongside a pointed nose. He gazed impatiently through his green eyes at an empty great hall.
" Kado!"
The man shouted in frustration as the person he summoned instantly appeared by his side, cloaked in all black.
" Yes, Master Lee?"
Kado replied, waiting for further instructions.
" I want you to check out what's taking Kei and his fool for a friend so long to deliver what I asked for!"
He commanded.
" As you wish, Master."
Following orders, Kado then vanished without a trace. Eventually, he arrived just outside his destination.
"Hmm, that's odd."
Kado commented on seeing the steel door cracked open.
Remaining on guard, he opened up the door slowly. His eyes soon widen, witnessing a boy waiting patiently on the other side, covered in nothing but dried blood.
