Chapter 5 - The Electric Tale of Pikachu-2

As Ash fought back with all his strength, fatigue and exhaustion began to take over. His hands felt rigid, like dead weights, and his vision started to blur. The pain faded away, and his eyelids grew heavy. He knew he was on the brink of unconsciousness at a terrible moment, just when his partner needed him the most.

Meanwhile, Pikachu lay on the ground, unconscious and badly injured. The last thing he remembered was sprinting away from the birds as fast as he could, only to be ambushed out of nowhere and severely beaten. Before he could defend himself, a powerful attack knocked him out. The pain he felt was unimaginable and piercing, just like thousands of needles pinching him. Overwhelmed by it, he could only cry out before losing consciousness.

After some time, Pikachu regained consciousness, but the pain in every bone of his body remained intense. He was unable to stand up and lay on the ground, struggling with the unbearable agony. Looking around, he was terrified by the scene: his trainer, Ash, was fighting off the attacking Spearows and was taking a beating himself. Pikachu never expected this; he had never met a trainer who would risk his life to save a Pokémon that was considering abandoning him. Any other person might have run away from the danger, but Ash was still fighting for him.

This deeply touched Pikachu. He regretted the way he had acted towards Ash earlier. Even though he had treated Ash poorly, his trainer was still trying to protect him. Pikachu realised it was not the time to remain weak. He needed to fight alongside Ash to save both of them.

Summoning all the strength he could find, Pikachu stood up and jumped into the air, shouting, "Pika Chuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!" He unleashed the most powerful Thunder Shock he had ever produced, until he was completely exhausted.

The force of the attack took down the nearby Spearows. However, Ash was also badly shocked, becoming extra crispy from the electric blast. Nonetheless, the shock revived him; he was no longer dazed. Taking advantage of the moment while the Spearows were incapacitated, he picked up Pikachu and ran as fast as he could. Pikachu was in critical condition, and they needed to reach Viridian as quickly as possible to get him help.

As Ash ran, he remembered that he was still being pursued by the Spearows. Suddenly, he realised he had reached the edge of a hill. There was no way ahead, and behind him were hundreds of furious birds. Panic gripped his heart. His thoughts raced in chaos, and he didn't know what to do. His body kept running instinctively. As he reached the cliff, he spotted a large lake below and, without thinking, jumped.

Once underwater, he swam as far as he could, feeling relieved that he could escape. However, in his haste, he forgot to hold his breath and exhaled. Realising his mistake, he swam desperately for the surface. He passed by several water Pokémon who showed no interest in him. But as he swam forward, terror struck him. In front of him, Gyarados was swimming straight toward him, its monstrous mouth open and ready to devour him.

Ash was paralysed. He knew he could not escape this monster. Suddenly, something pulled him out of the water, and he landed on the ground, coughing and gasping for air. In front of him stood a girl holding a fishing rod..She had orange hair held in a spiky ponytail. She wore a white and blue sleeveless shirt just covering her well-developed boobs, blue denim shorts showing her perfect ass curves, and red, blue, and white sneakers.

She screamed when she realised that, while fishing, she had pulled out a boy. Starmie, which was beside her, immediately shot a powerful water gun at Ash. Though it caused him a lot of pain, it jolted him awake from his trauma. Ash recognised her at once—she was Serena.

Just kidding, she's Misty.

Misty was fishing as usual when her rod shook, and she thought she had caught something big—a strong water Pokémon. She used all her strength to pull it out of the water, but to her surprise, it was not a Pokémon at all.

Misty noticed a chubby yellow rat in very poor condition resting on the boy's arm. She assumed this handsome young man was a poacher. "Starmie, use a water gun to knock him out and save this poor Pikachu!" she commanded.

Ash reacted immediately. "Hey, stop! Are you crazy? My Pikachu is in critical condition, and you're attacking me! I need to get to the Pokémon Centre as soon as possible."

Misty replied, "I don't believe you. Poachers don't care about Pokémon; they only care about money. You're going straight to jail. Look at how injured that poor Pikachu is! What did you do to his trainer?"

"Please believe me. Look at my license," Ash pleaded. "We were attacked by hundreds of Spearow. My Pikachu needs treatment right away. Please give me directions to Viridian."

Misty glanced at the license and saw it was real. The League had informed her that Spearow on Route 1 were aggressively attacking trainers, and she had been ordered to help such trainers. She quickly gave Ash directions to Viridian.

Suddenly, Ash saw hundreds of Spearow flying toward him from the sky. He was shocked that these aggressive birds had found him. Without hesitation, he ran and spotted a bicycle parked nearby. He jumped on the bicycle and said, "I'm borrowing this! Thanks for the help."

Misty didn't understand why he was running at first; she thought he was stealing her bicycle. "Hey, you! Stop right there! That's my bicycle!" she shouted.

But by then, he was already long gone. Misty turned around and saw flocks of Spearow flying above her, heading straight for Ash. Feeling worried, she silently prayed to Arceus for mercy on Pikachu. She immediately informed Nurse Joy at Viridian about a boy whose Pikachu needed emergency treatment. The boy himself was also covered in wounds and bruises.
