Her father had helped Kodai remove the limiter within his body in order to ensure her survival from Kodai's grasp.

Above the Hidden Leaf Village, a pitch-black vortex suddenly appeared in the sky.
Kodai stepped forth from it, expressionlessly gazing down at the crowds below.
"A bunch of pathetic weaklings. Today you'll perish along with this village."
A deep crimson energy sphere condensed in Kodai's hand before shooting swiftly toward the village's center.

A golden light flashed as Naruto Uzumaki kicked the energy sphere away with one swift kick.
"The Hidden Leaf will be protected by me! I'll be the one—Naruto Uzumaki!"
Looking at the sudden appearance of Naruto Uzumaki, Kodai snorted coldly, "You actually think you can stop me?"
Without another word, he transformed into a white streak blitzing toward Naruto Uzumaki.
The two instantly became entangled in fierce combat, their afterimages flashing across the skies above Konoha endlessly.
Kodai grew increasingly alarmed during the fight.
Even in his current state, his opponent was matching him blow for blow without falling behind.

With a thought, Kodai sent his pitch-black Truth-Seeking Balls directly toward Naruto Uzumaki.

Kodai lay on the ground, his face pale, barely able to speak.
All he could do now was resist the damage the Whirlpool Sage was inflicting on his body.
"Just this much strength, and you thought about challenging Mirai Uchiha?"
"Truly overestimating your own ability."
A few days ago, Naruto Uzumaki had already learned Kodai's identity from Mirai Uchiha, which was why he had been waiting in Konoha like a farmer watching his field.
