A man with a muscular build wearing provocative clothes, and a tall, slender man with delicate features stepped into Snow Country.
The soft-spoken guy spoke first, "Bolo, I really don't get why you're putting so much effort into setting up this religious group in Snow Country. What use are those civilians?"
"Wouldn't it just be easier to kill Snow Country's leaders and seize power directly?"
Hearing his companion's complaint, Bolo scoffed coldly, "The Leader doesn't permit us to reveal ourselves at this time, so we have to establish Kara's base through this method."
"Deepa, truthfully, I agree with you. With our organization's strength, seizing control of Snow Country would be effortless."
Hearing this, Deepa revealed a faint sinister smile, "I just don't understand why the Leader fears that person called Mirai Uchiha so much."
Nodding in agreement, Bolo said, "Right. Just a mere human. The only reason she managed to dominate the ninja world was because we never took action."
Confidence dripped from their words.
As transformed humans, they wielded power far beyond that of any civilian.
Even Mirai Uchiha, who had unified the entire shinobi world, was utterly disregarded by them.
No matter how strong an ant gets, it's still just an ant.
"So, when's that guy finally showing up to meet you this time?"
Deepa frowned, clearly displeased.
"All members of the Outer Faction act the same." Bolo replied in an unhappy tone. "I've already instructed Sanzu Amado to begin cloning Santa Asama. Once the clone matures, I can eliminate Santa Asama for good."
Time passed minute by minute. Just as Bolo and Deepa were growing somewhat impatient, two figures—a man and a woman—approached from the distance.
"Touno Shinshi…"
Bolo was about to question why they arrived so late when he noticed Mirai Uchiha walking beside Touno Shinshi. His expression changed drastically.
"Mirai Uchiha?!"
"Touno Shinshi, have you betrayed me?"
Facing Bolo's accusation, Touno Shinshi coldly responded, "Isn't that obvious? I've been thoroughly fed up with all your grotesque, costumed freaks for a long time now."
Since betrayal had already been decided, there was no point in holding back anymore.
Touno Shinshi had originally joined Kara only out of desperation during hard times. Naturally, she held no real loyalty toward them.
Seeing her former subordinate showing such disrespect, Bolo became furious.
He clenched his fists tightly, speaking coldly, "Today I'll kill both of you myself!"
Deepa's face also lit up with excitement as he licked his lips, saying, "This is getting interesting. Looks like today will let me really enjoy the thrill of battle."
After hearing their words, Mirai Uchiha wore a faint look of disdain on his face.
"A goat dares to challenge the tiger even before its neck is snapped,"
he said mockingly.
"Let me see what these so-called cyborgs are really capable of."
Immediately stepping forward, Deepa laughed wildly, shouting, "Then allow me to show you despair first!"
With a wave of his hand, Deepa launched countless tiny stones made from compressed carbon molecules straight at Mirai Uchiha.
Mirai Uchiha gave a light humph, raising a barrier of crimson-colored skulls in front of him that blocked all of Deepa's attacks.
Witnessing this, Deepa's expression turned even more crazed.
His entire body was quickly enveloped in radiant carbon armor. Long, razor-sharp blades extended from his palms as he lunged straight at Mirai Uchiha.
Clang!
The blade struck against the skull barrier in front of Mirai Uchiha, producing a crisp sound, but causing no damage whatsoever.
Mirai Uchiha couldn't help but feel disappointed.
"This is the strength of an Inner Faction member of Kara? Pathetic…"
Before he traveled back in time, he had only skimmed the Boruto storyline and knew very little about Kara.
Originally, he had expected Kara to possess at least as much strength as the Akatsuki. But he never imagined they'd be this weak.
Mirai Uchiha's expression made Deepa feel insulted.
Ever since his transformation, he considered himself a superior lifeform, freely hunting and killing any civilians he encountered.
Yet now, this person dared to judge him like that!
"Don't underestimate me, bastard!" Deepa roared angrily, channeling all his power as he launched another attack against Mirai Uchiha.
Mirai stepped back, cocking his arm before throwing a punch.
Boom!
The tremendous impact shattered Deepa's body into pieces.
Mirai raised an eyebrow, unable to suppress a smile. "Too hard? Guess that makes you too brittle?"
He hadn't expected that a single punch would blow Deepa to bits...
Mirai shifted his gaze toward Bolo.
Bolo snorted coldly and charged forward at Mirai. "I'm nothing like that guy Deepa!"
[Boil Release: Star Breaker!]
A massive wave of acidic liquid surged toward Mirai, exploding violently — Boom!
But in the next second, Bolo's arm was blown apart.
"You're too weak. Honestly, not even remotely interesting."
"On the other hand, as experimental materials, Orochimaru might find you interesting."
Mirai activated Kamui, sending Bolo directly into an alternate dimension.
With Bolo captured, he should be able to gather more intel on Kara.
