Axton glanced at Ren, who was sitting on the stool by the side of Corvin's desk, choosing to sit with Corvin, who looked like he was busy reading through the pages of a huge book.
Ren hadn't looked at Axton since he walked out of the glass room, and it greatly disturbed the captain.
"Captain," Rhys called, seeing that the captain was lost for a while in staring at Ren.
Axton slowly looked away from Ren, facing Rhys, "Yes, Lieutenant?" His eyes fell to the brown envelope in Rhys's hand, and his face instantly dimmed when he saw the familiar seal on it.
"Commander Brown delivered this, Captain. He said it was urgent," Rhys said, handing the envelope to Axton.
Axton took it, opened it, and pulled half of the folded out. After staring at it for a second, he pulled the paper pit and unfolded it.
The room was quiet as Axton read through the paper, and throughout his reading, his face remained stoic.
He lowered his hand, folded the paper, and slid it back into the envelope.
