"Go in," Axton said to Ren, who slowly walked behind him, moving aside to let him walk inside the glass room.
Ren nodded and slowly entered the room, lowering his fae as he walked past Axton.
Inside the room, he was surprised to find two familiar faces staring at him from the glass house with disbelief written all over their faces.
"Yes, your little experiment didn't work on him... there's more to him than just a helpless boy you could toy with," Corvin said to the men in the glass room.
Ren balled his fists, recalling how they had subdued him in the alley and forcefully injected that thing into him. His head suddenly started to feel hot, a hum simmering through his body as his vision momentarily turned blurry.
He could feel something rearing its head within him... his beast was stirring, angered by the men in front of him. The thought of what they had done to him made him thirst for revenge.
