Corvin was finally done assembling the humidifier he had made.
He carefully placed it in the centre of the table and sighed, "A job well done." He murmured, smirking.
If his instincts were right, this humidifier would heighten whatever was going on between the captain and his captive.
He couldn't wait to see the effect of his work.
"I'm not hurting anyone, I'm just trying to help," he said to himself and nodded firmly.
If the captain found out what he had done, he might kiss his life goodbye.
"Who are you speaking to?" Rhys's voice asked right behind Corvin.
"Shit, Lieutenant!" Corvin gasped, spinning to face Rhys with a frown, "Can you make a sound when you're moving? You scared me." He glared at Rhys.
Rhys looked around the infirmary, then returned his eyes to Corvin's, "Who were you speaking to? Are you communicating with the enemies? Betraying the captain?" He stepped forward, narrowing his eyes as he pinned Corvin with a suspicious look.
