"Let me go!" she screamed, but the music was too loud. Her voice barely reached anyone.
She tried again—tried to shove him off—but her arms felt weak. Everything was spinning.
Then it happened, what she feared the most.
One hard shove, and her body flew backward into the cold water.
All the water filled up Hailey's mouth and nose, barely giving her enough space to breath. Her hands flew across the water, trying to grab it as if it was possible. Unfortunately, she wasn't.
Everyone gasped when they saw Hailey jump into the pool.
Draven had a worried expression, however, before he could get into the pool to rescue her, someone had already jumped in to save her.
Everyone was looking with confusion evident in their faces as they tried to make the face of the man that'd just jumped in.
Killian helped Hailey up, but she'd already fainted, leaving him with no other option but to carry her out.
Without saying a word, Killian carried Hailey away.
