Betty turned her head consciously, her stomach churning in anxiety when she saw the woman's face.
"It's Diane."
Betty and Dominic were as stiff as statues as Diane and Charles continued to sample between products, searching for the perfect gift for their daughter for her wedding.
"What should we do?" Betty whispered to Dominic.
Since they were in Velmora, they weren't surprised that she was right across from them. Just that they didn't expect to bump into her so soon.
"I want that one." Diane continued with her shopping while the salesgirl nodded in understanding.
Betty and Dominic tried to hide in a corner right behind a ball gown that was wide enough to cover them both. But it wouldn't be long before another one of the salesgirls noticed their actions.
"We need to get out of here," Betty whispered to Dominic.
Nodding, the both of them tried to leave while putting their bags over their faces. Unfortunately for them, Diane recognized them immediately.
