Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Yusuke Uchiha

In a small grove near Konoha Village, two young boys were engaged in fierce hand-to-hand combat, the sound of their clashes—"thwack, thwack"—echoing relentlessly.

Though young, both boys were clearly skilled in taijutsu. Each move was lightning-fast and packed with power, stirring gusts of wind through the trees.

One of the boys wore a green spandex suit, sporting a comical bowl-cut hairstyle and thick, startling eyebrows. His nose was larger than average. This was a young Might Guy.

"Yusuke, fighting you is just too thrilling! But watch out—this is my final move!" Guy, drenched in sweat and beaming with excitement, called out to the other boy.

The boy facing Guy had jet-black hair and a handsome face, with calm, narrow eyes that seemed as still as water.

Dressed in Konoha's standard ninja vest, a headband bearing the village's emblem tied to his left arm, and a fan-shaped symbol—red above, white below—on the back of his vest, he was unmistakably from the Uchiha clan. This was Yusuke.

"Konoha Gouriki!" Guy roared, preparing to unleash his move, but Yusuke suddenly interrupted him.

"Wait!" Yusuke raised a hand to signal a pause.

"What, Yusuke, are you scared? Did I, Guy, finally beat you in taijutsu this time?" Seeing Yusuke call for a stop, Guy teared up with joy.

Yusuke spoke calmly, "You're too focused on your opponent and losing awareness of your surroundings. Izumi's here. I need to head back for dinner, so let's call it a day."

As soon as Yusuke finished speaking, a young girl's voice rang out nearby. "Big brother, Mom's calling you home for dinner!"

A little girl in purple clothing emerged from the trees. Her name was Uchiha Izumi, Yusuke's younger sister. She had long, dark hair and large, lively eyes that sparkled, with a delicate beauty mark under her right eye, giving her an adorable, charming look.

Might Guy nodded in disappointment. He and Yusuke had a standing agreement: whenever Izumi came to call him, their sparring session would officially end.

Yusuke had set this rule because Guy was too persistent. Once he got into the heat of battle, he'd lose control and insist on continuing, so Yusuke had made this three-part pact with him.

"Alright, let's spar again next time, Yusuke!" Guy's face lit up with a radiant smile. He waved goodbye and shouted, "Youth!" as he dashed out of the grove, kicking up dust.

As he passed Izumi, Guy flashed a wide grin, his bright white teeth practically gleaming, and gave her a thumbs-up.

Izumi returned a sweet smile and a thumbs-up of her own. "Keep it up!"

Watching Guy's figure disappear into the distance, leaving a trail of dust, Yusuke shook his head with a smile. He walked over and picked up Izumi. "Let's go eat, Izumi."

Yusuke Uchiha had been in the *Naruto* world for fourteen years. He was a transmigrator from Earth.

Back on Earth, he had watched Naruto and had a general understanding of its plot, though he only remembered the broad strokes and had forgotten many details. He wasn't particularly interested in the later parts of the story, where god-like battles dominated, and had only skimmed those, leaving many gaps in his knowledge.

However, he was well aware of the Uchiha clan's fate. In a few years, the clan's genius, Uchiha Itachi, would slaughter the entire clan for the sake of the village's stability, sparing only his younger brother, Sasuke.

Yusuke could not tolerate Itachi's actions. As a member of the Uchiha clan himself, and with his parents and sister Izumi as his untouchable "reverse scale," he would never allow anyone to harm them.

To take control of his and his family's fate, Yusuke relentlessly trained to improve his strength.

Before transmigrating, Yusuke was a scientist in multiple fields, armed with vast knowledge and efficient learning methods.

With cognition far beyond his peers, Yusuke had deliberately honed his abilities from a young age. Compared to most, he had a head start, and with his tireless efforts, his strength grew at an astonishing pace.

In the eyes of others, Yusuke Uchiha was a rare genius, on par with his contemporary, the prodigy Kakashi.

Both Yusuke and Kakashi had recently been promoted to Jonin, though they didn't interact much.

Recently, the deaths of Obito and Rin had left Kakashi, already aloof, even more isolated, avoiding contact with anyone outside of missions.

Still, Yusuke and Kakashi shared a connection through a mutual friend—Might Guy. Perhaps it was a trait of proud individuals: they had few friends but valued someone as genuine and trustworthy as Guy.

Yusuke felt pity for Kakashi. Without the recent string of tragedies, this genius could have achieved far more than he did in the original Naruto story.

Currently, Kakashi had stopped improving his skills, numbing his wounded heart with endless missions. In Yusuke's view, Kakashi was squandering his talent.

But pity aside, Yusuke had no time to dwell on Kakashi. He was fully immersed in the ninja world, his scientist's curiosity driving him to study all aspects of ninja knowledge.

Though the rules of the Naruto world differed from Earth's—for instance, on Earth, swinging arms while running increased speed, but in this world, keeping arms behind the back was faster—problem-solving and research methods were universal. With his scientific background, Yusuke had a significant advantage in studying ninjutsu and scientific training methods.

Carrying Izumi, Yusuke strolled along a country path, enjoying the beautiful sunset with his adorable sister.

"Big brother, today a boy said you're not a genius. I argued with him for so long! You're the best!" Izumi said, nestled in Yusuke's arms.

"Oh? Just ignore that kind of talk. No need to argue," Yusuke replied with a smile, gently tapping Izumi's nose.

"How could I? He said you haven't awakened your Sharingan, so your so-called genius status is just outsiders' hype and means nothing in the Uchiha clan," Izumi pouted, her face full of indignation.

Yusuke laughed. "You're usually so humble, but now you're getting competitive?"

"I can let other things slide, but not bad-mouthing you! You became a Jonin at twelve! Even without the Sharingan, you're the strongest genius in the clan—no, in the whole village!" Izumi huffed.

Though Yusuke's strength far surpassed his peers and he had reached Jonin level, he had yet to awaken his Sharingan, a fact that often drew criticism from some clan members. Many Uchihas were extremely proud—arrogant, even—with an almost obsessive pride in the Sharingan.

To them, the Sharingan made the Uchiha invincible. Even if Yusuke was strong, without it, they saw him as mediocre, believing they could defeat him with their own Sharingan.

Yusuke was puzzled by his delayed Sharingan awakening and had researched extensively, poring over historical records.

He discovered that awakening the Sharingan required intense emotional stimulation, often triggered by danger to loved ones or oneself. Only such extreme circumstances could unlock it.

Knowing this, Yusuke could only shake his head. He had few friends, his family stayed safe in the village, and his own strength meant he rarely faced real danger, always resolving threats. As a result, despite becoming a Jonin, his Sharingan remained dormant.

However, Yusuke wasn't overly concerned. His true trump card was a weapon that came with him to this world—a weapon not native to the Naruto universe.

Deep within Yusuke's soul, a samurai sword wreathed in blazing flames floated silently.

The blade was long and slender, adorned with flame-like cloud patterns, glowing with crimson light amidst the fire. It was Ryujin Jakka, the strongest and most ancient fire-type Zanpakuto from Bleach!

Ryujin Jakka usually slumbered in Yusuke's soul but could be summoned during battle.

Over the years, its fiery nature had subtly influenced Yusuke, making his fire chakra exceptionally potent and pure.

Yusuke excelled at leveraging this, focusing on developing fire chakra and related ninjutsu.

However, he couldn't fully control Ryujin Jakka. Its power was too wild, and he had only recently mastered its "Shikai" state.

Even so, Shikai alone greatly boosted his strength, earning him the title "Flame Blade" during the Third Ninja War.

When Yusuke and Izumi returned home, a simple yet exquisite spread of home-cooked dishes awaited.

"You're back, Yusuke. Hurry and eat. You train so hard, and you're already a Jonin—don't push yourself too much," Uchiha Hazuki said with a gentle smile.

Hazuki, Yusuke and Izumi's mother, looked to be in her thirties, resembling Izumi but with a more mature beauty.

Yusuke set Izumi down, sat cross-legged at the table, and smiled. "A ninja can never relax. Every bit of effort in training could save your life in a critical moment."

Hearing this, Hazuki's face grew sad. "This war has taken so many lives. So many familiar faces from the clan are gone. I don't know when the great ninja villages will stop fighting."

"Even as a Jonin, the ninja world is dangerous. Be careful," she urged Yusuke.

"I understand, don't worry," Yusuke replied earnestly, then clasped his hands and said, "Itadakimasu."

Izumi sat down, clasped her hands, and echoed, "Itadakimasu!"

After watching them eat with a warm gaze, Hazuki brought out a stack of black clothes. "Tomorrow morning, there's a grand memorial ceremony for all the villagers who died in the war. I've prepared your clothes—don't forget to wear them."

"Another memorial?" Yusuke murmured.

Did you know: In Japanese tradition, everyone, regardless of age, clasps their hands before a meal and says "Itadakimasu" to show respect for the food and gratitude for having it.
