"I see," Asher spoke as he nodded, not thinking too much about it.
He turned to his friends as he spoke, "It seems luck isn't on you people's side today." He shook his head as he walked forward. "But I guess you guys will meet him before we head to the Star Academy."
He knew Azaron would give him the End-class Monster blood he had promised within the next few days, and within that time, his friends would meet Azaron.
Ryaen, Vaelric, and Finch nodded and followed beside Asher. After all, their own parents were always busy, so they understood that the Duke wasn't available.
William, who had been eager to meet Azaron, couldn't help but turn towards Finch as he stated, "Aren't you supposed to be the lucky one here?" he asked. "How come we didn't get to meet the Duke, whom we just saw outside a couple of minutes ago?" his tone almost exasperated.
Finch turned towards him as he replied with a shrug, "Maybe your bad luck is countering my good luck."
