A black van pulled to a stop before a skyscraper. The door opened, and from it, Asher, William, Ryaen, Finch, and Vaelric stepped out with various smiles on their faces as they talked, a calm air surrounding them as they walked into the hotel skyscraper.
The driver remained in the van for a moment as he stared at them with an envious gaze. He couldn't help but think about when he was around their age. He had also dreamed of becoming an awakener. He had also dreamed of unleashing various skills and slaying monsters, beasts, and Emovirae, while marrying various women and splurging money without restraint.
