Late at night, the young Suko finds himself on the roof of Rui's house, curious to how he got there he screams in shock, waking up Rui. "Suko? he might be in danger!" He got out of bed and ran out after grabbing his katana that stood next to his bed, upon arriving outside he didn't see anyone, "Rui I'm up here" He later on explains to Rui about the mushroom and after eating it and going to bed, he douse not remember getting on the roof, Rui asked him a few questions about the mushroom and then putting the topic on hold till the next day they went back to bed.
In other parts of the city, Tabuyashi and Jasmine talk about the day's events and after chatting for a bit they decided to call it a night, "Do you have anywhere to sleep tonight, after all, your new in town" Tabuyashi just realized at that moment that they were so occupied that he didn't get a chance to look for accommodation. "I'll take a short walk and if there is not any place willing to give me a place for the night I'll just go camp in the forest. "Jasmine coughed after hearing such madness, she wanted to say something but got interrupted, "See you soon Jasmine" And off he went with Aries in his arms, she waved them goodbye and went on to lock up her shop and head home.
Its morning time and Rui is busy in the kitchen tidying up and moving things around, and in the process, he woke up Suko. "Rui is that you?" Rui replied "Yeah, it's been a while since I had a guest over, so it's only a good idea to tidy up the place" Suko came out of the room and sat on the chair outside, Rui came out after cleaning. "Hey kid, want to come shopping with me?" Suko didn't have anything to do at home, so he agreed. As they left home Rui looked at Suko and realized he still had the same old clothes on he wore since he arrived at his house. He took him to the local dealer first and after getting the essentials they needed for breakfast they walked deeper into town, he showed Suko all the nice building as churches as they walked. They passed a blacksmiths shop and as soon as they were about to walk past it a man in a black passed them, Suko saw he had a beard resembling his fathers, he quickly span around and told Rui he saw his dad, they weaved through the crowd and as soon as they reached the man he grabbed him by the robe and said "Dad?" The man turned around in confusion, removed his hoodie and looked at him in confusion. "Dad? I don't know who you are kid" He then tugged back the piece of the robe he wore and put back on his hoodie and walked off. "It's alright Suko, it takes time to deal with loss, if your dad is still out there somewhere he will be looking for you, I have an idea, let's go get some chocolate, I know a place around the corner"
They proceed to the confectioner's shop where they purchase a few pieces of chocolate and proceed to go home, along the way Suko hears about a fight which happened in the northern district. "Klara, you hear about the fight which took place yesterday, they say a man and woman fought a group of bandits over a dog. They say the man was carrying a military grade sword" The other woman chimes in, "I did, they say he is not from around here, maybe some adventurer which got robbed" They continued walking before stopping for a break.
