Noelle's POV
As I regained some consciousness, I blinked for some time .I felt weak
I removed my head that was leaning on his shoulder. I felt a little energetic and I gazed at the town. We were in the human realm?
I was so excited that a smile was carved on my face. A childish one. Maybe this psycho man was finally in his senses to return me home
''Speed up ''Lucian's bold and cold voice authorized Julian
''Don't worry, we will be there shortly'' he said reassuring me.
I stared at him. Did he hit his head or something?
Why is it like he cares or something?. What's up with him? .I wondered again
It was silent in the car. Too silent
I then remembered that I asked Linda his age and she told me to ask him myself
I cleared my throat awkwardly .
''So, how old are you?'' I asked enthusiastically.
He looked at me. I then realized that his blue cerulean eyes were just so clear and pretty and it looked...lonely
I have to admit I get pretty lost in his eyes
We stared at each other for some time .A slight blush appearing on my cheek
Then he pulled away and looked so stoic like it was only me feeling such a very strange yet pleasuring feeling
''For?'' he simply asked without looking at me
''I just want to know ''I said childishly
He totally ignored me.
That pissed me off slightly. Does he think it is so easy talking to a man with a deadly type of aura who looks at you with boredom in his eyes like you're sprouting nonsense and to add him being a demon king? the devil's son.
''If you're not going to answer just tell me'' I muttered silently to myself.
He let out a soft chuckle.
I stared at him for sometime. I can't believe I'm in the same car with a demon king
My brain is processing a lot
I wasn't all that hungry because Reiss the demon in my grimoire transform mana into energy for me to use
I then realized something
Although Lucian had a deadly aura, he wasn't all scary as I saw him in his villa before
''Lucian ''I called out softly
''What'' he responded looking at me
''Two questions. One, where are all your immense aura gone to
and two, where are we going to? I asked
You're a curious lass. I know you are starving. Why don't you save your energy after all today is going to be a big day'' he ended with a dark smile on his face.
Chills run down my spine and I sat down properly and just enjoyed the sight
After some time ,I realized I was nowhere near home
''Lucian why aren't I home already? ''I asked slightly whining when I realized I was nowhere near home
And besides, I don't even know why I want to return to a place where they wanted to kill me but anywhere is fine than this man
''Home? ''He asked
Then a slightly dark, bold and thrilling laugh filled the atmosphere in the car
''Why would I take you home when you have a very important mission to fufill in your life ,young lass?'' He ended with a dark chuckle
That laugh was scarier than himself yet I kinda...like it. It sounded so great and satisfying
The car stopped abruptly. Lucian got out of the car already wearing a sunglass
When did he put that on. I wondered
He opened the door for me and took my hand
As I got out he came close to me , his hot yet cool breath tingling on my ears .A hot blush settling at my cheeks
''Don't try anything stupid'' he whispered with a dark tone
