Drake, seeing the weird and ackward behaviour his mother and sisters had put on, upon noticing Lucian, immediately giggled.
He couldn't blame them for being awestruck by the beautiful blue-haired boy. He on his own was even drooling earlier when he had set his eyes on Lucian's human form, for the first time.
He can't blame them, he couldn't judge them. He himself was part of it. Though, to him, it's a miracle that his mother and sisters weren't drooling over Lucian. Maybe, it's thanks to the discipline and self control they were all made to learn while in public.
In order to break his mother of whatever fantasy and ackwardness she was in, he snapped his finger, twice while being in front of his mother. Lady Sarah jerked out of her fantasy, clearly dumbfounded that she was fantasizing over a child.
"Hey! Mum! This is Lucian by the way".
Drake said as he moved over to Lucian and wrapped his arm on Lucian's shoulder,in a friendly manner. As for Lucian, he still had that tint of pink on his cheeks as he blushed in embarrassment and shyness.
Sometimes, he wondered exactly why people, especially the humans he had met today (of all days) would usually fantasize about him when it's usually their first time meeting him.
"Hi mam!!"
Lucian muttered shyly as he ducked his gaze down low.
Lady Sarah, hearing the blue-haired boy's soft and melodic voice hung her mouth open. For once, she didn't think about the crowd of people,both reporters and others that had surrounded her and were agitating to interview her or hear her speak.
For once, she didn't care about her public image and reputation. What really mattered to her was the heavenly and most beautiful child on which her own beautiful son had draped him arm over.
"Ugh...."
Lady Sarah muttered, struggling repeatedly to say a word. Her eyes were accessing each and every particular detail of the blue-haired boy.
His ocean blue eyes, his red rosy lips that seemed to sparkle, his blue hair that was long, reaching his back and quite messy.
"Mum! Get a grip of it!!" Drake once again, snapped his fingers in front of his mother, drawing her attention. Lady Sarah immediately snapped out of her fantasy,her eyelids blinking rapidly and repeatedly. She quickly closes her mouth as her gaze falls on her son, Drake. "Mum, you were out of it".
"Um... sorry". Lady Sarah ackwardly said, clearly flustered. She smiled widely as it brightened her features. She turned her gaze to Lucian before saying. "Sorry, little one. Don't get the first impression that I'm a pervert. It's really shameless of an adult like me".
Lady Sarah scratched her head in complete embarrassment. A foreign shyness suddenly setting in, almost turning her into a shy secondary school girl.
Her face, having the perfect touch of makeup, seemed to brighten up as she blushed. Lucian seemingly didn't take offense that Drake's mother was stunned by his handsomeness. He is likely getting used to it.
So, deciding not to criticize the woman, he wiped the blushing look off as he put on a smile. Drake's arm was still on his (Lucian's) shoulders, but Lucian didn't seem to care.
"Not to worry, mam. It's nothing, I'm not offended and besides, I'm getting used to having the same reaction from people anytime I meet someone for the first time".
Lucian spoke truthfully. The smile, brightening his already extremely handsome features made lady Sarah to marvel continuously within herself at how one had birthed a child like the one she was staring at, aside from her own son.
Only if she knew that Lucian was actually born out of the woods.
"Yes mum. Lucian here, is very cute and handsome that I and Josh couldn't help drooling over him".
Drake beamed as the words left his mouth. Lady Sarah raised an eyebrow in amusement. Even Lucian could only feel embarrassed.
"Is that so?..... Wow, that's really interesting".
Lady Sarah murmured,her amusement clearly evident.
"Yes mum. He's one hell of a beauty".
Drake said as he directed his gaze at Lucian,in which Lucian did everything he knew to avoid. He even shrugged off Drake's arm as he wiped off one of his stray strands of blue hair that fell on his face. That act alone did wonders.
"You're right son. Your friend is one hell of a beauty". Lady Sarah said as she nodded earnestly. Lucian blushed uncontrollably as he heard Drake's mother's sayings. Drake chuckled as he continued staring at Lucian. "Anyways, I have to go talk with the police chief Commander. So, take care Drake and nice meeting you Lucian".
Lady Sarah said with a sigh.
Drake and Lucian both nodded. Then speaking of Drake's sisters,who were quite short and not really noticeable, were still present. They had, all along been staring at Lucian, probably lost in the fantasy of his handsomeness.
They actually snapped out of their trance when they heard their mother's words.
"Mum! I wanna come with you as you go talk with the police".
That was Kira talking. She tugged on her mother's red well designed and luxurious flowing dress.
"Me too,mum. I don't wanna stay here with Drake".
Kora stuck out her tongue as she said her own point. Drake rolled his eyes at Kora's childish behaviour.
Lady Sarah, holding her black purse that had a shiny diamond crystal in the middle, with her hand, could only shake her head sideways.
"I'm sorry, girls. Children aren't allowed behind the yellow tapes". Lady Sarah said, earning a sad look from Kira and Kora, after being declined of their request. Lady Sarah, seeing their sad looks could only say words that would lighten their mood. "Don't worry Kira, Kora. Just go back to the car and I'll be there with you after I talk with the police chief Commander".
"Okay mum!!"
Kira and Kora chorused uniformly. The sad looks bring wiped out from their faces immediately,they both turned around and headed for the white car.
The bodyguards holding off the little crowd of people, did well to make way for them, safely as the two girls disappeared into the white Range Rover, with the help of a bodyguard who opened the door for them.
Lady Sarah then turns to Drake and Lucian.
"Once done talking with your friend,go join your sisters in the car".
Lady Sarah said to Drake.
"Yes mum.... but what about Josh? I haven't seen him since you came".
Drake voiced out.
"Don't worry. I already ordered my guards to get him and Edwin away from here". Lady Sarah replied. She then took her gaze to Lucian. "Nice meeting you again, pretty boy!"
With lady Sarah saying those final words and leaving no room for response, she turned ahead and catwalked stylishly.
Her pose was both elegant and stylish as regards to a Governor's wife. Her purse in hand and her red dress beautifully suiting her. Drake and Lucian stared intently at lady Sarah as she walked passed them, clearly heading for the ambush scene that is clearly secured by yellow tapes.
Her bodyguards,doing very well to pave way for her through the little crowd of reporters and the locals.
Drake and Lucian turned to look at each other and shrugged. The crowd of reporters and the locals that were once surrounding them were already tripping towards the yellow tapes.
A few bodyguards still standing at the convoy of cars, protecting and guarding Drake's sisters who were in the white car.
"So.....um, I'm now a pretty boy. Nice!!" Lucian stated while beaming happily. "Your mother,is really interesting".
Drake chuckled beautifully. His cute face going extremely attractive in an instant.
"That's my mother for you".
"However,a lot has happened today, especially for you and your friend, Josh".
"Yeah, you got that right. And it's kind of a good thing that we met today".
"Infact, I'm glad I met you Drake, it's too bad we have to part ways".
Lucian said with sincere sadness.
"If I wasn't ambushed today on my way to the Amusement park, I wouldn't have met you. But before we finally say goodbyes and hope to meet again in the future,how about a run in the woods? Possibly till when my mum's done?"
