The said Jaden lunged at the man clad in golden armor, swinging the sword at him. His speed and movements were unimaginable as his red wings spread out, supporting his attack. He moved with fluid grace as he lunged straight at his brother. The golden sword, humming and accepting the temporary control over it,plus, the runes on it, obeying the commands of who is in control. Only if it knew that it was being used to attack it's master.
The man with golden hair and golden armor, could only smirk,as if mocking the figure lunging at him. He raised his left arm upward, easily deflecting the blow from the sword. Jaden was sent back violently by the sheer force from which his brother had used in deflecting the attack. He looked surprised and disbelief crossed his face. The golden haired man, his smirk only widened.
"It seems you forget brother. The sword belongs to me. I have permanent control over the sword. Despite the fact that it tears my heart that you could betray my trust, I can't allow you to use that sword for long or use it to kill me".
The golden haired man said, bringing his arm down.
"Shut up!! I'm going to kill you!!!"
Jaden roared, his voice tinged with fury but a part of it held envy and jealousy. The golden haired man must have noticed it because he arched his brows in amusement.
Jaden didn't wait long. He lunged at the golden haired man,yet again. His red wings supporting his movements as he charged at his supposed brother.
The golden haired man, not wanting to deflect the blow with his arm because, he knew that Jaden had added more strength to the attack, summoned another sword with his right hand.
The other sword he summoned was from his golden spiritual energy. Without thinking twice, he blocked Jaden's attack from the air, using the sword he summoned. The smirk and divine calmness, never leaving his face.
Jaden, without retreating or falling back, continued to attack the golden haired man clad in golden armor. He swung the sword fluently, attacking the golden haired man, quite relentlessly.
His red wings with white outlines on it, flapping steadily behind him as he continued to assault the golden haired man. The golden haired man's sword, being in Jaden's possession and temporary control, seemed to go dim (that is, it's glowing started to dim slightly), as it quickly realized it was attacking it's own master.
The golden haired man,firm with determination from his brother's betrayal of trust, fought back. He defended and parried every attack from Jaden using the sword he had summoned against the original sword he owned, the same sword he trusted into his brother's hands in order to complete a mission. He couldn't believe that his brother would betray the trust he had on him, using the sword he entrusted to kill him.
"I can't believe you would do this brother. I can't believe that you would use my sword, I trusted you with to attack me. This betrayal is unforgivable".
The man in golden armor said as he continued to parry and defend Jaden's attacks, using his own sword against him.
They were now in the air, fighting like the real Angels that they were. The golden haired man had suddenly developed golden glowing pair of wings. The two Angels fought repeatedly attacking each other, while being in the air, their different coloured wings flapping steadily.
"I'm just utilising your weakness and using it against you. Can't blame me for it".
Jaden said, suddenly stopping in air and firing a beam of red and white spiritual energy at the golden haired man. The golden haired man growled loudly, seeing the beam of red and white spiritual energy coming at him.
Drake and Lucian watched with wide opened eyes and mouths at the scene that played out before them. Two brothers fighting each other,both Angels and quite powerful,cause, their repeated attacks and blows were so powerful that it shook the very walls and pillars of the large room. One of the brothers, clearly the one who betrayed the other,looked evil in their eyes. While the other, clearly the one whose trust was betrayed was more of an Angel warrior. The way their swords clashed repeatedly in the air,shook the very pillars and walls.
However, Drake and Lucian had already come to terms that the two brothers couldn't see them, but they themselves could see the two brothers. They could see everything, everything that was playing out before them.
To them,it felt more like a dream or some kind of a fantasy land. But they really didn't care anymore about how they got here or where they were, what mattered to them was the scene playing out before them.
The beam of red and white spiritual energy being fired from Jaden's hands, headed right at the golden haired man,who is in the air. His golden glowing wings flapping with ferocity.
The golden haired man, clearly not fazed by the beam of red and white spiritual energy, quickly powered up.
Powering up,a cloak of golden spiritual energy covered and enveloped him, not as a shell, but as power being fired out of his body.
The golden haired man met the beam of red and white spiritual energy mid charge, the red and white spiritual energy hitting him violently.
The whole room turned into utter chaos. The ground and the walls started shaking. Cracks spiderwebing on the bronze walls, the whole room suffering from the fight between the two brothers. The pillars were even in a worse condition. They were already cracking and were about to shatter into pieces.
Amidst these chaos in the room as a result of their fighting, the golden haired man wasn't afraid as he met the beam of red and white spiritual energy. Jaden, seeing that his brother didn't even try to dodge his inmate magic, decided to fire more. Cracks spiderwebed on the floor, the red and white spiritual energy passing through the golden haired man and hitting the floor.
After he finished releasing the beam of red and white spiritual energy, he looked down to confirm if it's target was dead, only to see the golden haired man still in the air, without a scratch.
"You're stronger than I thought".
Jaden said, his voice filled with actual frustration. The golden haired man smirked, immediately powering down as the cloak of golden spiritual energy extinguished. His golden glowing wings still flapping steadily behind him.
"That's because I'm the strongest Angel. Now...give me my sword!!"
The golden haired man roared as he flew with his golden glowing wings, right at Jaden, while firing his own beam of golden spiritual energy.
His own beam of golden spiritual energy tore through the air, intensifying the worse condition of the large room. The beam of golden spiritual energy hits Jaden with a massive ferocity, sending him flying and hitting the ceiling. The golden haired man kept firing the beam, digging Jaden deeper into the spiraling ceiling.
The large room's condition spiraled out of control. The pillars started falling apart, cracking onto the ground. The walls shattered leaving gaping holes in between them.
But Drake and Lucian were not afraid by the room's condition, that's because, nothing in this place,sees them,touches them or even notices them.
It was like they were seeing a vision- which they actually were. Lucian may have already concluded that they were seeing the final moments of somebody, but, Drake was still clueless about everything they were seeing.
As Lucian kept staring upward at the golden haired man firing a beam of spiritual energy at the said Jaden, his eyes had darted away from them for a second, only to catch sight of another Angel.
It was a she. She had purple wings, purple glowing eyes, purple high heels and purple robes. She was beautiful with a circle of strange purple flowers sitting on her purple hair.
She seemed to be watching the scene, but from a different angle. She hid behind a pillar blending well with the darkness and the shadows plus the rubbles of collapsing walls. Her eyes wide in horror,as if some top secret had just been revealed to her.
Lucian, therefore took his gaze back at the golden haired man, still firing a beam of spiritual energy.
Jaden,as a result of the golden beam hitting him and digging him deep into the ceiling, he clumsily let the golden sword fall from his hand, the same sword that was owned by the golden haired man. The golden sword fell from Jaden's hand and falls onto the ground.
"No!!!"
Jaden shouted, seeing that he had clumsily let go of the sword he was holding as a result of the golden beam hitting him, but unknown to anyone,a smirk was tugging on his lips.
The golden haired man actually fell for the trap, seeing what he came for falling from his brother's grasp. He stopped firing the beam and lunged for the sword that had already hit the ground.
Flapping his golden glowing wings, he was already close to the sword in seconds. But just as he was about to reach out for the sword, Jaden appeared right in front of him, picked up the sword and thrust it into the golden haired man's chest.
The golden haired man's eyes widened in horror, disbelief and confusion. Pain that he had never felt before,shot through him as he realized the painful fact, he had let his guard down.
"Keep in note brother, once you die, I'll take everything from you. Your castle, your sword, the whole city of Nashdrad, the love and respect you get and most especially your life". Jaden said coldly, his other hand on the golden haired man's shoulder as he burrowed the sword deeper into the golden haired man.
The golden glowing runes on the sword went off completely as the painful fact remains,it has been used to kill it's master.
"Your sword, the temporary control over and most importantly your trust was all I needed to kill you".
