"No thanks, go find someone else!"
Lu Jingming's Black Abyss Spear instantly materialized in his hand. With a flick of his wrist, several fierce spear rays shot out like scattered stars, accurately detonating the incoming water arrows one by one.
Lu Jingming didn't want to get along with Childe. That guy was single-mindedly obsessed with the thrill of combat. If their relationship became friendly, he'd probably be challenged to a fight every day, and where would that leave his time with his wives?
"You use a spear, brother? I happen to know a thing or two about spears myself!"
Childe moved swiftly, the water blade in his hand changing form again. In the blink of an eye, it became a long spear. He exerted force and fiercely hrew it toward Lu Jingming.
Lu Jingming flipped his left hand in the air, likewise condensing a Lightning Spear shimmering with lightning, which he unhesitatingly hurled out.
The two spears violently collided in mid-air. For a moment, water surged and thundered lightning interwove, and an area tens of meters in radius was swept by these two powerful elemental forces.
Simultaneously, Lu Jingming, wreathed in lightning, shot high into the sky like a falcon.
Immediately after, countless thunder and lightning bolts rained down onto the training ground below, forming an all-encompassing attack.
Since condensing his Soul Core, his Soul Power recovery speed had become incredibly fast, no less than that of a Titled Douluo. He was already able to spend his Soul Power freely without any burden.
With the boost from the Stigmata of Thunder and the authority of the Thunder Demon God from the Thunder God of the Genuinely Real, the energy consumed when using lightning power was inherently minimal. Coupled with the Soul Core's ability to spontaneously absorb ambient energy for recovery, his power could rapidly return to its original state after every skill usage.
As such, a fight like this, even if it lasted for three days and three nights, would place no strain on him.
Childe was in a roughly similar situation. He was formed by negative energy and could absorb negative energy to restore himself. The Hydro Vision he wore also helped him absorb the Hydro element for recovery, essentially granting him a power equivalent to a Titled Douluo's Soul Core.
Amidst the surging water, a gigantic water sphere quickly formed, steadily blocking every single thunderbolt that struck down.
Following that, Childe rushed out of the elemental storm, completely unharmed.
The water, under his control, condensed into several long swords, which flew toward Lu Jingming like enchanted swords, carrying a chilling sword intent.
Ji Juechen, in the audience, saw this and his pupils instantly contracted.
Since the start of the battle, Childe had skillfully used multiple weapons, and he was incredibly proficient with every single one.
Now, he was controlling flying swords, and they even contained Sword Intent. This indicated that Childe also possessed a high level of achievement in swordsmanship.
Ji Juechen couldn't help but show an interested expression. He was already keen on fighting powerhouses, and he had a special fondness for swordsmanship experts.
Lu Jingming naturally refused to be outdone. He pointed his right hand like a sword, and several Lightning Swords slowly emerged behind him, their thunderous sword intent soaring into the clouds.
The Lightning Swords and the Water Swords clashed back and forth in the air. Over a dozen flying swords continuously crisscrossed the sky, a mesmerizing sight.
"Hahaha, what a thrill!" Childe roared with excitement, then fiercely slashed a high-pressure water blade tens of meters long toward Lu Jingming.
"Bring it on!" Lu Jingming was also gradually ignited by the passion of the fight. The black long spear in his hand radiated the aura of death as he thrust out a single strike.
The moment the spear and the high-pressure water blade collided, a ripple rapidly spread out from the point of impact, actually shaving off a layer of the incredibly hard training ground floor.
Within the expansive training ground, lightning and water interwove like a fantastical light show, wildly flashing and clashing.
The spectators outside the arena widened their eyes but could barely see Lu Jingming and Childe's figures anymore.
The speed of these two had far exceeded the limits of what the naked eye could capture. They seemed to have transformed into two invisible phantoms, concealed within the vibrant and fierce elemental storm.
The air currents alone, created by their movement, possessed astonishing destructive power. The marble floor, as hard as iron, was easily torn apart beneath these winds like fragile paper.
Fortunately, Lu Jingming and Childe were both extraordinary powerhouses. They were able to perfectly restrain their strength with exquisite control, preventing excess power from leaking out. Otherwise, the damage caused by this battle would have been far more shocking, and perhaps the entire training ground would have instantly turned into a ruin.
Clashes between true masters often aren't filled with the earth-shattering scenes people imagine.
Their confrontations are more often decided in the subtle details: the precise clash of blades, the ultimate competition across all aspects of power, speed, reaction time, and technique.
Every engagement contained a profound understanding of combat and perfect mastery over their own abilities.
At this moment, Hoshimi Miyabi and Durandal also happened to finish their daily training. They came to the side of the arena and watched the brilliant duel between the two men with rapt attention.
Compared to the other ordinary students, they could see much deeper things, relying on their own formidable strength and rich combat experience.
In their eyes, Lu Jingming and Childe were undoubtedly master-level experts proficient in martial arts and weaponry.
Childe's martial prowess was self-evident, while Lu Jingming had been meticulously taught by Jingliu since childhood.
One could imagine that even a person with poor talent would eventually achieve something under Jingliu's tireless, repeated, and dedicated instruction, let alone Lu Jingming, whose talent was quite remarkable to begin with.
Although Lu Jingming couldn't compare to Childe's comprehensive mastery of weapons—the ability to casually wield various arms—in the use of the spear and sword, he was in no way inferior to Childe.
Lu Jingming's long spear was like a nimble flood dragon, transforming into countless afterimages. A succession of chilling spear lights flashed one after another.
Accompanying the spear's dance, the black and red electric light, imbued with the power of Severing, precisely decomposed the water-condensed weapon in Childe's hand time and time again.
If Childe couldn't rely on his control over the Hydro element to quickly reconstruct his weapons, he might truly struggle to withstand Lu Jingming's tactic, which was specifically designed to destroy the opponent's weapon.
However, in cruel combat, there is no such thing as a despicable or unfair method. Successfully destroying an opponent's weapon is undoubtedly a unique and effective style of fighting, though this approach certainly tends to disrupt the opponent's mindset.
"Brother, your power really is dangerous! Looks like I can't hold anything back anymore."
Childe's figure flashed, narrowly dodging the spear thrust that was as swift as lightning.
Even so, a faint scratch appeared on his face.
It was caused by a lightning strike carrying the power of Severing. On Childe's cheek, dark cracks spread out like a spiderweb, slowly leaking black negative energy.
However, Childe seemed completely unconcerned about the wound on his face, instead showing an excited, even somewhat ferocious smile.
In an instant, violent currents of water swept across the entire arena like a raging tide, firmly lifting Childe into mid-air.
"Foul Legacy: Raging Rain of Feathers!" Childe's shout, like thunder, echoed throughout the training ground.
At this moment, he finally unleashed the Foul Legacy technique he had learned from Skirk.
This Foul Legacy technique originated from the greatest catastrophe in the universe—Foul Legacy, Surtalogi, who was Skirk's teacher.
Following Childe's cry, the violent currents of water instantly transformed into a gigantic whale, which soared up from the ground.
This Water Whale carried an extremely fierce aura, pouncing toward Lu Jingming like a hungry tiger, as if intending to swallow everything in the world.
"Focus, reach the peak, Annihilation!"
Lu Jingming's expression was grave. He held the spear with one hand, and at the tip of the spear, the black and red lightning compressed and converged, as if gathering all the power of destruction in the world onto that single point.
Even he was using this self-created Soul Skill for the first time.

An Important Announcement: Time to Write Our Own Novel!
Hello everyone!
Thank you all so much for your support; it truly helps me keep going!
I have some exciting news: after translating many fanfics, I've decided it's time to start writing my own Novels! I plan to begin with a new fanfic—I'm currently thinking of either the Avatar: The Last Airbender or Douluo Dalu universe, featuring a Neutral protagonist. That is exactly what I meant by Neutral Protagonist (This refers to the character's Alignment. A Neutral Protagonist is not strictly bound by concepts of absolute good or evil, nor are they necessarily tied to Law or Chaos. Their actions are generally motivated by their own survival, personal goals, or a desire for balance, operating in a morally gray area.)
Once I've written a few fanfics and gained more experience, I can then move on to developing my own original novel soon after.
If you want a direct hand in shaping the main character's destiny and giving input, be sure to join the poll!
I've launched a poll on my P@t reon page!
HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:
1. Head over to our P@t reon page and become a member. (Don't worry, even those with a free membership can join the poll and share their input!)
2. Select any option you desire in the poll
3. Leave a comment on the poll post or send me a DM if you have any specific thoughts or ideas!
