Magic crystal usage in this might vary depends on how far the broken connection of portals to reconnect. But with how far the calculated distance is, I might need to do an extra effort.

I couldn't think of it much sanely as my focus was preoccupied with absorbing and sending mana to the key. But I notice the system is recycling leaking mana as it keeps disappearing as soon as it leaves my body. I feel everything, the scorches feels like insects crawling in my skins. Some mana veins in my body suddenly burst, with some mana leaking out. Luckily, this system is greatly efficient, for some reason the leaked mana vanished mid air which originally just stockpile through the air increasing the density of it. It seems likely to absorbed the leaked mana I couldn't focus much on it due to the pain.

I suddenly feel less in fatigue, and although Im still burning, for some reason, the burnt skins is slowly recovering its like a tug of war between recovery and damage.

Passing off the absorbed mana into the key, the key finally functioning trying to reel in the connections forcefully weaving it together but it consumes a lot of mana.

The portal reconnection is finished and my whole body is filled with burns, this auto recovery is very slow I guess this is what I could expect to a trait at it's beginning level.
But shit this burns like hell, without the pain resistance I might be able to withstand this.
As the portal opens, a blue spiraling energy appears. I knew this is the Most basic form of portal, Master's portal formation before was an advance magic and doesn't need portal key to reconnect. I entered the portal in haste but what great me was hell itself.
Where the hell is this? This place, i deny to belive this is Master's dungeon. Did I made a mistake in reconnecting?
I looked at scenary in front of me. Monster's bodies scattered like a pile of leaves, barely any wood standing. Land is already barren as it lost its color in this grim place but the most shocking of it all was what I was witnessing in front of me. I strongly denies to believe that this is Master's dungeon but the critically injured old man in front of me shatters that very belief. Feeling negatively confused.
