Razeal just stood there, dumbstruck, his jaw practically unhinged as he stared at the scene before him. The earth in front of him had been cleaved apart no, obliterated. He couldn't even gauge the depth of the gash nor the width of it. From his limited perspective, it looked like the old man had just slashed half the planet in two.
Even the sky wasn't spared. High above, where clouds once lazily drifted, now a split ran clean through them. A visible tear in the heavens.
But just as he tried to process the destruction, something else caught his attention.
Golden green particles, tiny specks of shimmering light, began to appear. They danced through the air, surrounding the destroyed land, the sky, and even floated past his face. They were so vivid and so numerous that the whole world suddenly looked like it was glowing, basked in a divine aurora.
