Chapter 1 - Mc0 E0 Zemljakoster - Duying nature

In a place long forgotten, a boy named Zemljakoster grew up alone, with no knowledge of who his parents were or where he should go in life. Day by day, he dedicated himself to his own survival and personnel needs that were very modest and simple.

Zemljakoster's only constant companion was a grey cat that loved being petted and fed by him, reminding him he wasn't completely alone as he waited for his older brother to return from his travels—about which the brother refused to share any details, no matter how much Zemljakoster begged to know.

And every time these questions were brought to the older brother he would become angry and aggressive not wanting Zemljakoster to even think about what he was doing outside the place the older brother called "home" and Zemljakoster "shelter".

In the distant ruins and remnants of a long-abandoned era, Zemljakoster spent his time discovering all kinds of ancient objects forgotten by the inhabitants of this curent world.

After years of living in these conditions, Zemljakoster felt trapped and longed to leave in search of new sights. However, his older brother Ratopet discouraged him from even thinking about exploring a world that Zemljakoster knew nothing about.

Because of this, the two brothers constantly argued, with Zemljakoster accusing Ratopet of hiding something from him and lying to him.

Day by day, Zemljakoster's dissatisfaction grew, and the restless urge to explore the unknown world became unbearable. So, for the first time in his life, while his brother was away, he left the ancient ruins and ventured into an unknown direction until he spotted a small village in the distance he never sew before.

That day, he spent all his time observing the villagers and the equipment they used—moving metal horses, plastic pocket bricks that displayed images, and small mushroom-shaped marbles they placed in their ears to play strange kinds of music.

As amazed as Zemljakoster was, he was also frightened by everything he saw. He soon returned to the ruins, holding all the new information inside him and adopting a quiet, passive-aggressive attitude toward his brother—keeping secret that he hadn't listened to him.

Every time Ratopet left to handle what he called "complicated business," it only deepened Zemljakoster's distrust—especially after he had seen part of the new world. The younger brother began spending more and more time away from the ruins, observing and analyzing all kinds of new sights and electronic technologies behind Ratopet's back.

One day, he met a young girl around his age named Shantis, who found him while Zemljakoster was watching the village from a hill in the distance.

Zemljakoster didn't know how to react to meeting someone new, so his first conversation with Shantis was very awkward.

However, since Shantis was looking for someone to help free her father, who had been trapped under a fallen tree, she had no choice but to ask Zemljakoster for help.

Soon, as they rushed to her grandfather, Zemljakoster gently touched the tree as if stroking it—so slowly and softly that it annoyed Shantis who was in panic.

However, with just one touch, the tree soon split in half, and they quickly freed her grandfather. Shantis immediately took him to the hospital, leaving Zemljakoster alone not wasting any time to even say "thank you" to him because he refused to carry her father and go with them.

After some time, Zemljakoster and Shantis met again at the same place and began to talk more openly and friendly, even though Zemljakoster still struggled with his akwardness and holding conversations with new people without him getting nervous and starting speaking really fast. (So fast he could barely understand himself).

However, despite these obstacles, the friendship between Shantis and Zemljakoster grew, and they began seeing each other more often.

Zemljakoster even revealed his abilities to Shantis—how he could sense nature on a deeper level, create and destroy plants with a mere touch, hear every whisper and sound, and feel as though he were a part of it all.

Then he created a beautiful flower, long forgotten by this time, and gave it to Shantis. Flower was red with black dots that had its colores dance through its transparent texture, it looked like a rose but it was also shaped like a sunflower. (+100 rizz)

After some time, the older brother, Ratopet, discovered what Zemljakoster had been doing behind his back and became furious.

Enraged and disatesfied after learning everything Zemljakoster had done, he beat up his brother and even kept him captive for a while to prevent him from continuing to explore the world that was still largely unknown to him.

However, the younger brother managed to sneak out and escape. During his flight, he found Shantis once again and spent some time with her, eager to continue satisfying his curiosity for this unknown world, he was now hiding at her place from his brother.

However, soon and without warning, Shantis and her grandfather brought strangers into their home—people Zemljakoster knew nothing about. They were soldiers who quickly captured Zemljakoster and restrained him inside the tank they had arrived in.

No matter how hard Zemljakoster tried to escape, he was powerless—the soldiers were faster, stronger, and far more experienced than he was.

However, their journey was cut short when Ratopet revealed his presence, and a bloody battle broke out between him and the soldiers.

However, no matter how skilled or fast Ratopet was, and no matter how much his crystal allowed him to manipulate fire—creating burning wings, chains, or fists of flame—it was all in vain.

His opponents were not only more numerous, but also well-organized, matching Ratopet's every move blow for blow. And with Zemljakoster nearby, the older brother couldn't unleash the full extent of his power. Soon, he was overwhelmed, caught, and restrained.

Incapacitated, but not without satisfaction, Ratopet used the chaos and destruction he had caused to give Zemljakoster a chance to escape.

He secured his brother's freedom at the cost of his own.

"It's better to be a coward than a hero," Ratopet said with a smile, bloodied and bruised as he was dragged to the other tank. "At least you listened when I told you that. Guess i am the hypocrite now."
