Immediately King entered the coven, he came face to face with the evil witch. And there was serious exchange of magical powers, none want to bend for the other. The Queen called on the white witches to come and join hands with her to subdue the Dragon. They came and joined hands, and there was a serious battle between the Witches and the Dragon King.
Meanwhile the Dragon King was beginning to get weaker due to the battle. He disappeared back to where he was with Happiness. He saw Happiness lifeless body, and took pity on her.
He went close to her corpse, and started crying, that his heart has failed him, he cannot retrieve his skin and cannot transform to his real self. It is better to return the heart back to her because the heart disappointed him. The Dragon King returned the heart to Happiness. And in few seconds, Happiness opened her eyes and hugged King. She told King that she could hear his anguish. And she promised to bring back his skin so that he will live freely like the Dragon he is, they both looked at each other passionately and had their first kiss. King told her not to worry that the Witches were too powerful and they will kill her. She said the witches will do no such thing to her, because she has mastered all the magical powers.
Few years has passed, Happiness and King have grown fond of each other, infact King was in love with her but was afraid to let her know because he feared Happiness would not want to marry an animal in human form. Whereas, Happiness loves him unconditionally despite the fact that she knows he is a Dragon. Happiness have never felt true love from another person except from her foster parents.
There comes a time, Happiness went to visit her parents and took King along with her. She introduced King as her very good friend. The mother took her to the kitchen to discuss with her. The mother asked if King has proposed, she laughed that aside and told the mother they were just friends. Just friends! The mother said, with a grin on her face and went back to the living room. Happiness on the other hand,has been longing for King to pomp the question, will you be my girlfriend? But each time she craves for it, the more King is shy to talk to her. She knows King love her but lack the ability to say it to her face. And she loves King too but does not want to go for him first. She wants King to chase her. But on the other hand, she thought that King being an animal may not want to be in relationship with her since she is a human being. Or could it be that he does not know what love is all about, alot of thoughts ran through her mind. Could she be making the right decision to love King, a Dragon. How will her parents agree to let her marry King after knowing he is a Dragon. If they get married, how will their children look like, will they look half human, half dragon or what. These and many were the thoughts that ran through her mind. On the otherhand, King could not help but admire Happiness in his heart. He dreams of her everyday and he knows Happiness will make a good bride. But on the otherhand, he was afraid to ask her out.
In addition to that, he summoned up courage to meet her and profess his love for her. But if she refuses him, he will gladly accept it like that and admire her from a distant.
