"Where the hell is he?" Gwen stressed as she paced back and forth underneath the abandoned overpass, yet another victim of poor civic planning. Just as Gwen was about to pull out her phone and make a call, the soft purr of an engine reached her ears, and she looked up as a bike and its rider pulled up the road.

Coming to a stop in front of her, Harry reached up and pulled off his helmet, "Sorry to keep you waiting, did you miss me?"

"Yes, and by you, I mean the cure to get rid of the superpowered parasite currently taking over my body," Gwen responded dryly as she buried her hands into the pocket of her hoodie, clearly on edge.

"Well, I'm sorry for the delay ran into an assassination attempt and had to take an indirect route," Harry replied as he put down the kick stand for his bike and stepped down.

Gwen blinked as she processed what Harry had just said, "W-wait, what? Assassination Attempt, a-are you alright?!"

"Oh, I'm fine, not a scratch on me," Harry turned around in a slow circle, "Though it is a tad annoying because the only reason they would bother to kill me is if they think I'm a threat, meaning they know how much progress I've made with Ascend."

"You think someone's spying on you?" Gwen asked, filling in the gaps of what Harry was employing.

"Oh, I know someone is spying on me. I just need to figure out if this is a new player or not," Harry muttered, "But that's neither here nor there."

After a moment of hesitation, Gwen nodded, not wanting to dismiss Harry's woes, but the anticipation leading up to their meeting was killing her, "You said you had news regarding the suit...is it good?"

"Not on its own, but there is a solution," Harry started before clearing his throat, "With the sample you gave me, I was able to run a few experiments, and even within seconds of bonding, trying to remove the parasite proved fatal to the host organism. With how long you've been bonded, the chances I can remove it are slim to none."

Gwen swallowed hard at the news, but forced herself to breathe and not give in to panic, "Alright...but you said there was a solution."

"Yes," Harry answered as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a slim injector, like an EPIPen, but instead of adrenaline, the vial was filled with a glowing metallic solution, "I'm going to rewrite the suit's DNA, with this. If everything goes according to plan, your bond should go from parasitic to mutualistic."

"And could you explain to me just how that glowing stuff is going to accomplish that?" Gwen asked wearily as she stared at the injector in Harry's hand.

"This solution contains a retrovirus that I've genetically modified to target the suit's DNA. Over time, by introducing selective chemical signals, it will convince the suit that it needs to pass on its genetic information via reproduction. An act that can only be accomplished if you, the host organism, live. Even though it's incapable of reproduction," Harry explained as he pointed at the injector, "I also coded the retrovirus to slowly convert the suit's DNA into your own. So that eventually you'll be in full control of it."

Gwen stared at the injector before glancing back at Harry, "How long is eventually?"

"With the equation I derived from earlier tests, I'm confident that the longest timeline is three months before full conversion," Harry answered, "It's the best I could come up with in such a short amount of time. It isn't the most elegant of solutions, but this option has the lowest margin of error, considering I haven't been able to run any tests on a subject that's been bonded with the suit as long as you have."

Gwen froze for a second, "Margin of error? You're telling me it might not work?"

"Of course, it might not work; it may also have some unforeseen side effects. This isn't exactly a known science, Gwen," Harry replied as if he was stating the obvious before he held out the injector, "But I'm not about to tie you and force this on you. The choice is yours."

After a long second, Gwen reached out and gingerly took the injector from Harry's palm, "So what do I just jab this into my thigh?"

"Actually, directly into the side of your neck would work best," Harry replied as he took back his hand, "I could do it if you want or..."

Before Harry could finish his sentence, Gwen jabbed the injector into her neck with a grunt as the device clicked and the golden solution drained from the capsule inside.

Once the vial was empty, Gwen pulled the injector away with a grunt before cracking her neck, "Ugh, that was worse than I thought it would be."

"Alright then," Harry muttered somewhat in shock as he held out his hand, taking the injector back from Gwen, "I guess we're done here today."

Gwen nodded as she reached up and rubbed the side of her neck, "I can't thank you enough, Harry, seriously, you've gone above and beyond...."

Gwen's voice trailed off as she felt her body start to get uncomfortably warm, but not in the overheating feverish kind of way.

"Gwen, do you feel alright? Your eyes are kinda glazing over," Harry asked, his voice thick with concern.

"Y-yeah I'm just.." Gwen failed to finish her sentence again as she stared up into Harry's eyes, and found herself unable to look away. The heat coursing through Gwen's body skyrocketed, and her breath became audible as a heavy blush spread across her face, "H-Harry...w-what's happening to me?"

"I-I'm not sure, what are you feeling?" Harry asked as he stepped forward and placed a hand against Gwen's forehead.

Gwen's eyes turned into saucers as she felt the warmth of Harry's surprisingly rugged hands and found herself staring directly at his muscular chest, 'Why does he smell like vanilla and honey?'

"Gwen?" Harry asked again as he looked into her eyes, only to find they were practically glowing and her body was trembling.

"I'm sorry, Harry," Gwen muttered as her hands started to twitch down at her sides.

"Sorry for what?" Harry asked, though instead of answering with words, Gwen threw herself at him, tackling Harry to the ground and straddling his waist.

"I-I don't know why, b-but I can't help myself, I-I'm really sorry!" Gwen gasped as her hips started to move on their own while her hands reached under Harry's shirt, feeling his rock-hard abs, "Oh god!"

'I really have no idea what's going on,' Harry thought to himself as he reached out and grabbed hold of Gwen's waist, pushing up her shirt just a little bit just so his hands were touching her bare skin. It didn't take long for Harry to figure out what was going on, and the outcome was probably more of a shock to him than it was to Gwen, 'I guess there really is no containing life...how strange.'

"H-Harry don't touch me, whenever you do, it makes it so much worse," Gwen whimpered, her cheeks practically glowing as she reached down and grabbed the edge of her hoodie, pulling it up and over her head, leaving her in nothing but a binder that she also reach up and discarded letting her surprisingly full chest spring free, "God why is it so hot."

"Because you're going into heat," Harry replied, his eyes staring at Gwen's navel as he read her flow of bio energy, "The suit is forcing your body to produce a massive amount of testosterone and estrogen, causing you to ovulate, which is drastically increasing your sex drive."

"W-what?!" Gwen gasped even as she started to tear at Harry's shirt quiet literally ripping it off him, "W-why would it do that?!"

"Because it's adapting to the genetic reprogramming the virus introduced. The suit realized that it can't reproduce, but you can. And since it's also converting to become part of you, I guess it made the leap in logic that if you reproduce, it reproduces." Harry replied informatively even as Gwen pressed her bare breast against his chest and started to grind against him, her body almost hot to the touch.

"But why now, and why so sudden?!" Gwen stressed with a passionate sigh as she raked her nails across Harry's skin, leaving behind angry red lines.

"I had to make the urge to reproduce strong enough so the suit would prioritize it over any other life functions. Unfortunately, it seems that it's carried over that same instinct to you," Harry replied before he suddenly sat upright with a surge of strength and grabbed Gwen's arm pinning them against her sides and looking into her eyes, "I'm sorry about this Gwen, I didn't mean for any of this to happen, and I know you're not in full control of yourself but I still need to ask if you're okay with this."

For a moment, Gwen paused as she stared into Harry's eyes while feeling his muscular body wrapped around her, and she knew that even without the suit messing with her, her answer wouldn't have changed, "Yes!"
