Clang!
Blades collided. Two heads of red hair, blood-like in color, floated in the air.
Red hair wasn't rare in the world, but among the Celestial Dragons, there was only one red-haired family, the Figarland family.
Shanks and the captain of the guards clashed fiercely, as though they were mortal enemies. Though they came from the same family, their battle was a fight to the death; only one could live.
Such an intense battle; neither dared let their guard down. Whoever made a mistake would die.
Seeing everyone else engaged in combat, Luffy naturally set his sights on Imu.
"Shishishi"
Luffy laughed happily and shot forward like a streak.
Imu looked up at Luffy, seeing Joy Boy in his figure.
The straw hat of old represented inheritance.
The people of Skypiea, living close to the sun, wore straw hats to shield themselves from its rays.
Ace once wove a straw hat for Little Oars Jr. for the same reason: his enormous size brought him closer to the sun.
The giants of Elbaf lived even closer to the sun and needed straw hats all the more.
The straw hat had another meaning: it could block the sun.
Imu had lost count of how many times she had seen that straw hat. But every time someone wearing it appeared, they brought her significant trouble.
The person before her was no exception; he was the trouble of this era.
"Eliminating you, the world will restart once more. Whether it is me or that fellow, we both represent the will of the gods. The Sun God is too far away." Imu's unique spiral-patterned eyes looked at Luffy, meeting his red eyes.
She remembered them all too well. Joy Boy once looked the same. When he failed, he struck at the Tree Eve, draining it of its energy.
The energy once controlled by the moon people fell into her hands. Joy Boy's final battle with her was never to win, but to destroy Eve behind her.
Afterward, as Eve fell, Joy Boy left behind a single sentence:
"From here on, I'll leave it to the ones who come after… Shishishi!!!"
Imu killed Joy Boy and sealed his straw hat frozen in the depths of Mary Geoise.
Now the straw hat had appeared again, along with that annoying drumbeat and white hair.
"I don't get what you're saying. I only know I just need to knock you flying!" Luffy laughed, swinging a massive punch at her. His fist swelled midair until it was the size of a mountain.
Imu simply raised her hand. A mass of black flame-clouds appeared in her palm. Facing the mountain-sized fist descending upon her, she merely gave a gentle upward push.
"Divine Might!"
The black flame-clouds formed a ring, instantly erupting with a powerful shockwave.
The moment Luffy's fist landed, the tremendous impact force sent it flying back.
Luffy's fist, being rubber, formed layers of ripples upon impact, traveling up his arm.
The shockwave spread from Luffy's fist to his face.
Boom!
Luffy's face took the hit, his eyes popping out.
"Owwww!!! That hurts!!!"
Luffy's body deflated like a balloon, flying backward. The mountain-sized fist shrank, gas spewing from his mouth.
The smile vanished from his face, and blood trickled from his mouth.
This was the first time he had been so injured since entering Gear Fifth, sustaining substantial damage worse than any blade.
"Does it hurt? Nika's recklessness doesn't mean you're immune to everything. Since I could kill Joy Boy back then, I can kill you now," Imu said.
"It really does hurt. Conqueror's Haki," Luffy grinned.
It wasn't some special ability, but the application of Conqueror's Haki. Imu's mastery of Conqueror's Haki was extremely high.
"No problem. I can do it too."
Luffy raised his hand, grabbed a bolt of lightning from the sky, infused it with Conqueror's Haki, and the lightning in his hand turned into black Conqueror's Haki lightning.
"Black Lightning!"
Luffy placed his left hand on his right arm and threw it with all his might.
Boom!
Everyone looked up at the sky. The black lightning was visible, lighting up the entire sky.
"Imu-sama!" The Figarland guard captain, seeing this lightning, felt instinctive fear. If that lightning struck down and hit him, he would die.
So he looked at Imu with great concern, deeply afraid something might happen to her.
"Do not underestimate Mu's power."
Imu's body began to change. A pair of black horns grew, and her body rapidly expanded, growing larger and larger, beyond their imagination.
"What kind of monster is this?" Zoro and the others exclaimed.
"This is Imu's true form," Shanks said. The Red Hair Pirates looked at this monster, unable to believe it.
Her size was as massive as an ancient giant, similar to Oars.
She resembled Prince Loki of Elbaf.
Like Loki, she had a pair of horns. However, her face was that of a queen with white eyes, her body black and red, covered in thick, armor-like skin, with a giant arrowhead-shaped tail behind her.
It was this tail that had killed Cobra.
But now, the size of this tail was such that a simple flick made the ground tremble and crack open a huge chasm.
The lightning Luffy threw down from the sky was about to hit Imu. She lowered her head, and lightning gathered on her horns, converging into a pillar of thunder.
Boom!
The two bolts of lightning collided, both black.
Clearly, Luffy's lightning was a one-shot attack, while the others' lightning was like a thunder blade.
"Luffy!" Yamato cried out.
Imu simply flicked her head. The thunder blade was extremely fast, reaching Luffy in an instant, seemingly about to kill him.
Boom!
The blade exploded on him, engulfing his body in a blazing sphere of lightning.
"He's done for," one of the guards laughed.
"Wheheh, No one can withstand that kind of lightning attack," another chuckled.
"Luffy!!!" Lucky Roux shouted nervously.
"He'll be fine," Nami suddenly said.
Only then did Lucky Roux and the others notice that, apart from Yamato, everyone else in the Straw Hat Pirates was calm.
"Luffy is rubber. He's not afraid of lightning," Brook said coolly..
"Really?" Lucky Roux asked.
"Really. Even the Rumble-Rumble Fruit was useless against him," Sanji said lightly, taking a drag from his cigarette.
Sure enough, the lightning began to collapse, drawn inward, condensed into a ball.
Wrapped in his Conqueror's Haki, Luffy grabbed it in his hand
"Shishishi… take it back!!!" Luffy, holding the lightning ball, charged down from the sky.
