Chapter 243 - Chapter 243: Return and Little Barty's 'Death'

Inside Hogwarts, Moody brought Harry to his office with obvious urgency.

He pushed open the door and had Harry sit down, but unfortunately his heart was entirely focused on Harry, with no mind to observe his mirror.

Otherwise he would have discovered that there was an extra person in the office holding a wand pointed at him, along with a cat.

"Let me take a look at your wounds," Moody said to Harry with apparent concern.

Harry raised his hand weakly. "The trophy was a Portkey, someone cast a spell on it."

"How do you feel? What did he look like?" Moody asked, looking up with intense interest.

"Who?" Harry asked with obvious confusion.

"The Dark Lord," Moody said, standing up and staring straight at Harry.

"I don't know, it felt like entering those terrible nightmares, and there was something wrong with his magic... he turned into a woman," Harry said, shaking his head.

"A woman? How is that possible!" Moody said, his emotions becoming extremely agitated.

At the same time, his face began to contort unnaturally, and he quickly turned his head away, not daring to look at Harry.

He felt for the flask in his pocket, but there was no liquid inside.

He ran outside, rummaging through boxes frantically, but the Polyjuice Potion that had originally been placed inside had already been stolen by two thieves.

"Were there other people in the graveyard?" Moody asked with growing desperation.

"I... I never mentioned a graveyard," Harry said, sensing something was seriously wrong.

"Dragons, truly magical creatures, aren't they?" Moody said, walking over with predatory intent.

"Do you think that oaf would have taken you to see dragons without my hints?"

Moody frantically opened cabinets, pulling out all the bottles and jars, smashing quite a few bottles in the process.

"Do you think that despicable house-elf would have gone looking for gillyweed without me discussing it with McGonagall in her office?"

Moody, having failed to find the potion, could only turn back and glare viciously at Harry.

"Do you think you could have made it to the end and obtained the trophy without my careful arrangements?"

Moody brought his writhing face close to Harry's and licked his lips with disturbing satisfaction.

"You are the culprit! It was you who put my name in the Goblet of Fire, you who cursed Krum, but..."

Harry sobbed while looking confused, appearing rather pitiful.

"But but but... your trip to the graveyard tonight was all arranged by us, and now your blood flows in the Dark Lord's body."

Moody's magical eye was squeezed out, and his face underwent even greater horrifying changes.

Harry was frightened by this scene and shrank into the corner.

"Now, think about it... if I eliminate you, what kind of reward will the Dark Lord give me!"

Moody drew his wand and pointed it at Harry with murderous intent.

"Expelliarmus!" "Stupefy!" "Hypnosis!"

A person and a cat simultaneously launched various abilities and spells at Moody, pressing him down in his chair.

At the same time, two Beyonders of the Audience pathway seamlessly completed their control over him.

"Bang!" The office door was blasted open, and Dumbledore rushed in with others.

Seeing the scene in the office, Dumbledore was momentarily stunned.

"Miss Greengrass, why are you here?" Dumbledore asked with obvious surprise.

"Arranged by a certain someone who likes to slack off," Astoria said with a casual shrug.

"Miss Greengrass? Doesn't the Greengrass family only have two daughters?" Now it was Snape's turn to be stunned.

"Some secrets," Dumbledore said, casually glossing over it. "Give him some Veritaserum."

"I think that's unnecessary, Headmaster. We've already taken care of it. You can ask whatever questions you have."

Astoria stroked the fur of Radha in her hands, and Radha scratched her ear and yawned lazily.

"Who am I?" Dumbledore enquired.

"Albus Dumbledore," fake Moody answered robotically.

"Are you Moody?" "No." "Where is he? Is he in this room?"

Fake Moody struggled to raise his gaze toward the nearby trunk.

Astoria flicked her wand, and the trunk disassembled and reassembled according to a peculiar pattern, finally opening all seven layers of mechanisms inside.

Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Snape crowded around to look and discovered Alastor Moody lying at the bottom of the trunk.

"How did you know how to use this thing?" Snape asked, looking at Astoria.

"A product of Knockturn Alley, Professor," Astoria said with another shrug.

Snape frowned at her form of address but said nothing.

"Are you alright, Alastor!" Dumbledore said, immediately climbing into the trunk and covering Moody with a blanket.

"I'm sorry, Albus," Moody said with a weary sigh.

"Moody is here, so who is this one?" Professor McGonagall asked with obvious curiosity.

At this moment, Moody, locked in the chair by Astoria, began to shake violently, his entire face seeming to melt.

Soon, a handsome young man appeared in the chair.

"Bartemius Crouch Junior," Dumbledore spoke the full name of the young man before them.

The intense pain from the Polyjuice Potion wearing off allowed little Barty to break free from Astoria's hypnosis. He roared and stood up, trying to pounce on Harry.

A silver dragon tail extended from behind, wrapping around his neck and dragging him back to the chair.

"!!" Harry looked at the tail's owner in complete disbelief.

"Aiden!!" He rushed over and hugged Aiden tightly.

This made the psychologist holding the cat nearby let out a cold snort.

"You're alive. How did you manage it?" Harry asked with overwhelming relief.

"A little trick," Aiden said with a wink.

"How is this possible! How could you be alive? Did the Dark Lord fail?" Barty also looked at Aiden in disbelief.

"Hmm, very pleased to meet you, Doctor," Aiden suddenly said something completely out of context.

"I'll give you some advice... you'd better release me quickly. That lord has returned, and I will become a hero," little Barty said, laughing arrogantly.

"Of course, you will!" Aiden said, adjusting his monocle.

He took out a monocle from his pocket and put it on little Barty, while a Virtual Personality climbed onto little Barty's consciousness island, completing the manipulation.

With a forceful squeeze of his tail, little Barty fainted in the chair.

"Go to the Owlery and send a message telling Azkaban that an escaped prisoner has gotten out," Dumbledore said to Professor McGonagall.

Then he took Harry and headed to the hospital wing, while Professor Snape glanced at them and also turned to leave.

Astoria put down Radha and prepared to turn and leave.

"Astoria," Aiden quickly called out to her.

"What is it?" Astoria asked, turning her head and looking at Aiden strangely.

"Next time... if there's a chance, let's go shopping in Diagon Alley together," the dragon said, showing a gentle smile.

"Alright," Astoria said, returning a smile to Aiden, then walking out the office door.

At noon, Fudge brought Dementors bursting into Hogwarts. Knowing Fudge's nature of covering things up, Aiden had already had Astoria take little Barty away.

The Dementor gave this death row prisoner a kiss, then was hurriedly escorted back to Azkaban by the Aurors.

In the hospital wing, Sirius accompanied Harry with obvious concern.

"I told you, this simply wasn't Voldemort at all. The child was just too tired, and besides, what he said at the competition grounds wasn't entirely correct either. Look, isn't Mr. Prewett alive and well!"

Fudge refused to believe Harry and Dumbledore's account and played the ostrich.

Helplessly, Dumbledore pulled Fudge out of the hospital wing, and through the closed door you could still hear the two arguing heatedly.

"Heh, politicians," Sirius said with obvious contempt.

"Sirius," the awakened Harry called to him weakly.

"Harry, I'm here," Sirius said, going over and grasping Harry's hand.

"Sirius, you need to teach Harry Occlumency now," Aiden said, materialising from the air.

"!!" Both looked at him in shock.

"Does he always appear and disappear like this?" Sirius asked, raising an eyebrow at Harry.

"Always," Harry said with a tired smile.
