Chapter 228 - Chapter 228: Mass-Energy Conversion, Robes, and Ball Practice

Penetrating the boundary between reality and illusion, Aiden brought Professor McGonagall to Avalon.

The location of the mental cloud server was concealed by Aiden with the Bone Church.

"Oh, Mr. Prewett, have you been studying Dark Magic?" Professor McGonagall asked, evaluating as she looked around the mysterious church.

"I have studied it, uh, but it has nothing to do with this church. I obtained it by accident."

Although Aiden felt guilty, his face remained perfectly expressionless.

"Alright, Professor, follow me inside," Aiden said, leading Professor McGonagall into the Bone Church.

Inside the church, a massive alchemical matrix emitted silver-white light, and every floating white thread showed a person's experiences.

"What is this?" Professor McGonagall asked, reaching out to touch a thread and immediately seeing Tommy far away in London.

"Professor, this is a calculator we set up inside the Misty Illusion. You know, similar to a Muggle creation," Aiden explained.

"Oh, a Muggle computer?" Professor McGonagall realized with growing understanding.

"Yes, borrowing their design concept for the internet, the Department of Mysteries and I built a mental server here. Muggles connected to it can gain the ability to manipulate magical power."

"What?" Professor McGonagall was startled. "Then don't you control..."

"Let's discuss these matters later. Now let's talk about our Transfiguration. Professor, when this server connects to more creatures, its computational power becomes more massive. With this massive computational power, I obtained a relatively stable result: mass-energy conversion."

Aiden raised his hand and left a string of silver letters in the air with his wand: E=mc².

"Through magical power, we transform from external to internal, from object transformation to human transformation, with the intermediate energy and mass loss borne by magical power. Through the final result calculated by this server, we first become energy. This reduces the load carried by magical power, then introduces moon-attribute natural magical power to complete the conversion from energy to conceptual form. Finally, the three stages rely on Gyfu, Jera, and Tiwaz runes to achieve coordination, ultimately realizing transformation."

Aiden continuously wrote formulas in the air with his wand, showing Professor McGonagall his comprehensive blueprint.

"This is... phew, I need to catch my breath," Professor McGonagall said, transfiguring herself a chair and sitting down to rest.

After a while, Professor McGonagall asked, "What's the feasibility?"

"Nearly perfect."

As he spoke, Aiden clapped his hands. Gray particles gathered in the air, and soon Filch walked out from the swirling mist.

"Argus?" Professor McGonagall looked at him in complete surprise.

"Hello, Professor McGonagall. Don't look at me like that. I volunteered. You know how much people like us yearn for magic."

After speaking, Filch bowed respectfully to Aiden.

"Then, one last question: how do you plan to popularize this magic?"

Professor McGonagall pushed her glasses. Now they were entering her professional field.

"Through you and Professor Dumbledore," Aiden said with a sheepish grin.

"Alright, write out your references, and I'll publish it co-authored with Albus," Professor McGonagall smiled in her new role as advisor.

Aiden stared in shock. "..."

Fortunately, although Oliver had been poached by that ambitious Minister, Filch could provide Aiden with some valuable help.

This gave Aiden spare time amid his busy schedule to research his own soul studies.

Thursday, Errol brought a large package into the Great Hall.

Colin's brother Dennis Creevey brought the package to Ron's side.

"Your package, Ron," he said, handing over what was in his hands, then looked at Harry like a devoted fanboy.

"You go back first. I'll send your stuff later," Ron said, dismissing him.

"What?" Hermione looked at Ron with puzzlement.

"I promised to get Harry's autograph for him," Ron revealed the truth.

Pure-hearted Harry, who was looking at Cho Chang, choked on his drink.

"Mmm," he quickly grabbed his cup to catch the pumpkin juice in his mouth.

"Hmph, how does it feel to be famous again?" Aiden asked, suddenly appearing beside Harry.

"Bloody hell, Aiden, can't you make more noise?" Ron said, clutching his chest.

"Hey, Aiden, want to eat something?" Harry invited politely.

"No need, I'm here to get my dress robes," Aiden said.

"These are dress robes?"

Hearing Aiden's words, Ron excitedly opened the package.

Then he pulled out white robes with gold trim. The threads of the robes seemed to have magical power flowing through them, appearing extraordinary.

"Cool, but why is this size so small?" Ron asked, holding the robes against himself to compare.

"Those are mine, thank you."

Aiden walked over, took the robes from Ron's hands, and stuffed them into his pocket.

"Hmph, so what? Mom prepared something even better looking for me."

Then Ron pulled out burgundy-colored robes from the box.

"Are these really dress robes?" Ron asked, full of doubt.

"Don't say that, they go well with your eyes," Harry commented diplomatically.

"Oh, Ginny, these must be for you," Ron said, bringing the robes to find his sister.

"Impossible, these are clearly men's style," Ginny said, shattering Ron's fantasy without hesitation.

"I object! Mom is playing favorites!" Ron said, turning back to look at Aiden.

"Don't blame Aunt. My robes were sent by a friend, just sent to Aunt to alter the size. As for yours, they have Aunt's magical power on them. She must have made them 'by hand,'" Aiden emphasized the last two words.

"I..." Ron was momentarily speechless.

"Ginny, George, Fred," Aiden said, turning to point out the twins and Ginny, and they understood immediately.

"I didn't receive any," George said, raising his lower lip in a pitiful expression.

"Me neither," Fred said, spreading his hands.

"Same here," Ginny said, raising her hand slightly.

"Hmph, you guys..."

Ron ran off with his robes. Although he looked indignant, Aiden could sense he was secretly happy about Mrs. Weasley's unique gift.

In the afternoon, Professor McGonagall gathered the little wizards for ball training.

"The ball is a traditional part of the Triwizard Tournament. On Christmas Eve, we need to spend a comfortable evening with guests who have come from afar."

Professor McGonagall walked to the center, looking around at the assembled little wizards.

"As students of the host school, I hope you can all display graceful manners. The main reason I'm making these remarks is that the ball requires you to dance."

As soon as Professor McGonagall finished speaking, the hall became noisy with excited chatter.

"As Hogwarts students, I hope you have a good performance, not like a bunch of babbling baboons."

Don't you want to go protest to her? the system bubbled up at the right moment.

You're dreaming, Aiden cut off the system's connection.

"Speaking of dance, it's a process that makes the body breathe. Inside every girl's body sleeps a swan," Professor McGonagall said, looking toward the female students.

"I don't think there's a swan sleeping inside Eloise Midgen," Ron whispered to Seamus.

At the same time, Ethan also turned to Aiden and said, "Are you planning to lead or follow?"

Both simultaneous whispers were heard by Professor McGonagall. Aiden gave Ethan a 'you deserve it' smile.

"Then, Mr. Beckett and Mr. Weasley, come up and demonstrate for everyone," Professor McGonagall said, clapping her hands.

The surrounding students were led to applaud. Aiden pushed Ethan from behind, and he was forced to stand up.

The two were pulled by Professor McGonagall to the center.

"Come now, Mr. Weasley, put your hand on Mr. Beckett's waist. Mr. Beckett, put your hand on Mr. Weasley's shoulder," Professor McGonagall directed.

"Arms straight. Argus, music," Professor McGonagall ordered.

To Professor McGonagall's steady beat, the two danced with surprising grace.
