Chapter 174 - Taking Lyra

Akira asked curiously, "Where did you hear that?"

"Who knows?" Lyra said lightly, with a smile in her eyes, "But I haven't used it either, can you help me put it on?"

After saying that, Lyra stretched out her delicate feet with a hint of anticipation in her eyes.

Akira's heartbeat quickened. He reached out to take the package of black stockings and gently opened the package. His fingers trembled slightly, but he tried to remain calm.

Akira squatted in front of Lyra, looked into her eyes, and whispered, "I'll try."

Lyra chuckled, looking a little shy. Akira gently grasped Lyra's ankle and slid his fingers lightly over Lyra's skin. The touch of the fingers brought a tingling sensation. Lyra closed her eyes slightly, enjoying the gentle touch.

Akira's movements were very gentle. He carefully put the stockings on Lyra's feet and then slowly pulled them up.

The room was so quiet that both of them could hear each other's heartbeats.

When the stockings were completely put on, Akira raised his head and looked at Lyra.

"It looks like a good fit." Akira whispered, his eyes revealing desire.

Lyra opened her eyes and smiled. "Really? Then I feel relieved."

She stood up and turned slightly on the bed, letting the stockings fit the curve of her legs.

The two looked at each other for a moment, and the air around them seemed to become ambiguous.

Akira gently held Lyra's hand, pulled her close, and then kissed her gently on the lips. The kiss was gentle and long, yet with a hint of urgency.

Lyra responded to his kiss, gently wrapped her arms around his waist, and snuggled tightly in his arms.

Akira's hand slid across Lyra's waist, feeling the warmth and softness of her body.

Under the double attack, Lyra's breathing gradually became rapid. She gently bit Akira's lower lip, then slowly let go.

When the two separated, Lyra's face was slightly flushed and her eyes were full of anticipation.

Akira hugged Lyra and threw her into a hug, and the two of them slowly fell onto the soft bed.

"Oh, don't be so anxious."

For a moment, the only sound in the room was the rapid breathing of each other, and the air was filled with a sweet yet tense atmosphere.

The two looked at each other and smiled.

"Hmm..." Lyra frowned slightly and murmured softly, "It hurts a little."

It was Akira's first time experiencing such a fierce close combat "battle", and even with his careful guidance, injuries were inevitable.

Lyra bit her lower lip, and the strands of hair on her forehead were soaked with sweat and stuck to her fair cheeks.

Akira looked at her slightly painful expression, his eyes full of heartache.

He gently held Lyra in his arms and comforted her softly, "Don't worry, you will get used to it slowly. You have done very well."

After all, although Akira had never practiced it himself, he had seen it a lot in his daily life and had a wealth of theoretical knowledge.

With Akira's comfort, Lyra gradually relaxed. The two of them hugged each other, feeling each other's heartbeat and breathing.

In the quiet night, only the occasional chirping of insects could be heard from outside the window. As they exchanged moves again and again, the two became more and more familiar with each other, and their cooperation became more and more tacit.

Love grows quietly and becomes stronger inadvertently.

At the same time, in the old city streets, in the abandoned church.

A young woman sat quietly on a long wooden bench in the church, as if she was completely isolated from the outside world, and was shrouded in an indescribable silence.

Her long silver-gray hair fell naturally like flowing moonlight, softly hanging on her shoulders and back, occasionally swaying gently with her breathing.

The jet-black long dress fit her body tightly, perfectly outlining the curves of a mature woman.

She closed her eyes and listened to the sound of the candle burning. Alfia kept doing this for a long time after seeing Akira leave.

She was lost in her own thoughts.

Suddenly, she keenly heard the sound of the church door being pushed open and two footsteps.

Under the flickering firelight, the figures of Zald and Erebus slowly appeared in the room.

Zald looked at Alfia who seemed to be immersed in her own world. After a long silence, he asked, "Alfia, how was your observation in the dungeon? Are there any adventurers you like?"

Since Alfia didn't like noisy places, she had decided to go to the dungeon to find someone who could make her a stepping stone.

And Zald proceeded with the search on the surface, although he already had a goal in mind.

Hearing Zald's question, Alfia frowned slightly, and a barely perceptible displeasure flashed across her originally calm face.

Satisfied? How could she be satisfied?

Her thoughts involuntarily drifted back to the past.

Back then, when Zeus and Hera familias were still in Orario, all the rats were timid and didn't dare to breathe. Under the powerful intimidation of the two familias, they didn't even dare to peek their head out.

But now, these jumping clowns dare to do whatever they want in Orario, which is really ridiculous.

That would be fine, after all, Hera and Zeus familias were on another level. They were daunting as the strongest familias in Orario, and the members in them were terrifyingly strong.

But now the so-called strongest person in the city is actually a Level 6 kid. Are you sure this isn't a joke?

"It's just some boring noise."

Alfia's cold voice echoed in the empty room, with undisguised disdain.

Zald just smiled at this, naturally ignoring the sarcasm in her words. He put the food he brought back on the table, as if he was already used to Alfia's attitude.

"Really? I do see some good talents, but they are still too young." Zald touched his chin and said with a smile on his face.

Erebus asked curiously: "Oh! Who are these guys who can catch the eyes of Gluttony?"

"You must know about the 'justice' that is opposed to 'evil', the Astraea familia." Zald replied unhappily.

He didn't believe for a second that a god capable of finding them could possibly be ignorant of the dazzling familias making waves in Orario.

Zald then added flatly, "Not to mention, that guy we heard about on the road—the one who's now making a name for himself—is part of that familia."

"Ahahaha, well, I do like the Justice Familia too." Erebus scratched the back of his head, his tone carefree. "But they seem too green to me. I figured they wouldn't catch your interest."

The familiar words made Alfia quietly open her eyes. She stared at the two of them with her usual calm, yet penetrating gaze, and asked, "Does the Astraea Familia have a Level 2 adventurer?"

Zald's brows shot up. "Huh? You know that kid too?"

"It's rare for you to show interest in someone else." Erebus chimed in, clearly intrigued.

After spending time with the two on their journey, he had a rough grasp of their temperaments. Alfia was particularly indifferent to matters not directly involving her.

On their way to Orario, she had been thoroughly uninterested in anything and everything happening outside their small circle.
