Chaotic thoughts swirled like mist, hazy and indistinct, as if sinking into the depths of a vast, shadowed ocean.
A formless sense of falling wrapped around her, threatening to drag her down into a bottomless abyss.
"Sirin, time to wake up~"
A soft warmth spread across her nerves, and a gentle yet strangely unfamiliar voice brushed her ears.
Sirin's long lashes quivered as she slowly drifted back to consciousness from the haze of fainting.
Her eyelids, heavy as stone, lifted with effort.
The blurry world before her gradually sharpened, revealing golden eyes clouded with confusion and disorientation.
The first thing that came into focus was a pair of icy-blue eyes—clear as a tranquil sea, filled with nothing but tenderness and within them reflected her own face.
Her last memory was Nagami holding her in his arms.
A warmth she hadn't felt in so long. But then—that bastard had knocked her out!
There was no doubt about it—Nagami had betrayed her!
She had to find him.
She would definitely find him.
And when she did, she'd crush him underfoot, break him as she pleased, taint his body with the aura of the Honkai, and make him her servant for life.
But before that…
Where was this place?
Why was she here?
And most importantly…
"…Who are you?"
Almost instinctively, Sirin's usual pride and dominance softened at the last moment.
That look in those eyes… the same as her mother's.
"What are you talking about, silly child? I'm your mother! Did you stay up too late again? I told you not to copy your sister."
With a doting yet exasperated smile, Cecilia gently ran her hand through Sirin's silky hair.
'Mother!?'
The unexpected words left Sirin frozen, her golden eyes wide in shock, tinged with fear and a flicker of panic.
No. She wasn't her mother.
Yet the words stuck in her throat.
Because that tender voice, that loving expression—it was identical to her mother's.
"Come on now, hurry and eat breakfast. Afterward, we're heading to the amusement park! Today is the little princess's birthday—you haven't forgotten, have you?"
Amusement park? Birthday?
The unfamiliar words stole her attention, and Sirin didn't resist as Cecilia dressed her.
"Kiana and Nagami are already waiting for you."
Wrapped in a black corset dress trimmed with violet patterns, Sirin was gently led into the living room.
On the table at the center sat a warm breakfast, fragrant and inviting.
At the seats around it, she spotted a white-haired girl who resembled Cecilia far more closely—without needing to think, Sirin knew this was Cecilia's real daughter.
And then… Nagami.
Her pupils widened.
Instinctively she tried to attack, but the Honkai energy within her felt dead and unresponsive, like a stone sinking without a ripple.
"Sirin, you're so slow! Come on, come on, I can't wait to go to the amusement park!"
"Hurry up, Sirin."
Her stunned thoughts were cut short by the cheerful voice of the white-haired bundle of energy.
Nagami, smiling like nothing had happened, waved her over.
Confusion flickered across Sirin's face.
Cecilia's hands pressed gently on Sirin's shoulders, guiding her into a seat beside her.
"Sirin, try this one! Be careful, it's hot—Mama made it just for you!"
Kiana leaned forward with a bright, sun-like smile, placing a small pastry on Sirin's plate.
"This one's good too. Here—open up."
Nagami held out a piece of sponge cake.
Sirin, still dazed, parted her lips robotically and ate the bite he offered.
"Nagami~ I want you to feed me too!"
Kiana's spoiled tone filled the air as she puffed her cheeks, tugging on Nagami's arm and shaking it insistently.
Watching her cling to Nagami, Sirin suddenly felt… uncomfortable.
She didn't even think about it—her golden eyes narrowed, a chill slipping into her gaze.
Maybe Kiana sensed it.
Or maybe something in her memory stirred.
She paused, then reluctantly let go, muttering, "Fine… since you're my little sister, and it's your birthday today, I won't fight you for him… for now."
Cecilia only watched with a soft smile, calm and warm.
Sirin blinked, momentarily stunned, her gaze toward Kiana shifting ever so slightly.
After a brief silence, she finally turned her attention to the food before her and began to eat.
The warmth of the moment spread through the room, gentle and strangely comforting.
Morning light streamed through the windows, a single sunbeam catching in Sirin's golden eyes, making them gleam like jewels.
"Congratulations! Your serial number was drawn as today's lucky winner! You've received a full VIP one-day pass—no lines, no waiting, everything through the VIP lane!"
Dressed in Homu and Homi costumes, two attendants greeted Nagami and the others with cheerful waves, their words entirely expected.
After all, this was his dream to begin with.
"Whoa! I can't believe it! I actually won something for once! Hooray!"
Kiana, who had never once won a prize in her life, squealed with delight, hugging Sirin tightly and rubbing her cheek against hers.
Sirin, caught off guard, froze in bewilderment.
This just proved that Kaslana lady still could be lucky "gacha gods"… at least in a dream~
"What wonderful luck! As expected, little Sirin is an angel!" Cecilia exclaimed joyfully.
She grabbed both Kiana and Sirin's hands and skipped forward, her footsteps light and cheerful. "Let's go! First stop—the roller coaster!"
It was worth noting that Cecilia wasn't fully conscious here.
She had only a faint sliver of awareness—the rest was pure subconscious.
"Ohhh! Let's charge!!"
Sirin ignored Kiana's loud cry, allowing Cecilia to pull her along.
She glanced back.
There he was—Nagami, the black-haired boy, walking calmly just behind her.
No matter how chaotic the crowd, he never lost sight of her.
Sirin fell silent once more.
After the roller coaster came the pirate ship. Then the freefall tower.
None of these rides stirred even the slightest thrill in Sirin—after all, she was already a Herrscher.
But with Nagami holding her left hand, and Cecilia clasping her right, her chest throbbed with a restless rhythm she couldn't quite understand.
Something felt… different.
Then came the haunted house.
Her flawless pale face went a shade paler, and a flicker of fear trembled in her golden eyes.
Like a frightened kitten, Sirin curled into Cecilia's arms.
"Don't be scared, Mama will protect you."
The gentle woman hugged her tightly, whispering soothing words.
"Waaah! An evil spirit! Hmph, I'm not scared of you! Sirin, you don't have to be afraid either—your big sister will protect you!"
Kiana's proud declaration stirred something strange in Sirin's chest.
But before she could make sense of it, Kiana promptly dove into Nagami's arms.
That odd warmth inside her vanished instantly.
Sirin puffed her cheeks slightly, breaking free from Cecilia's embrace.
She tugged the shameless "sister" right off of Nagami, muttering things about "it's her birthday today" and "just this once" under her breath.
That made Sirin smile smugly.
'My servant will always belong to me!'
"…Didn't think you'd be afraid of ghosts."
Her grin froze when she caught the faint curve of Nagami's lips and the subtle glint in his eyes.
"Hmph! As if I'd ever be scared of something like that!"
She huffed coldly, turning her head as her cheeks burned red, burrowing back into Cecilia's arms.
Nagami, of course, noticed her flushed face.
A lively white-haired girl bouncing with energy, a gentle woman with a warm smile, a violet-haired girl caught between hesitation and pride, and a black-haired boy watching it all with quiet amusement…
They played together until afternoon.
"Ah, I just remembered—there's a brand-new shopping mall nearby! Lots of interesting stores. Let's go take a look!"
Cecilia, still holding one girl in each hand, strode ahead with bright enthusiasm.
Nagami's expression soured slightly.
Even in a dream, going shopping with girls was a terrifying ordeal.
But… he was starting to understand.
After all, when C.C. went shopping, she too forgot about time completely, gleefully trying on outfit after outfit.
No matter what she wore, she always drew out a unique aura from the clothes—bringing the original design to life with her refined, snow-white beauty.
Especially when he thought about later that night… ahem.
Clearly, Nagami's "understanding" had gone way, way off track.
