Chapter 9 - Chapter 11: Seeds of Rebellion

The Falling Sky Sect was no longer the same.

The elders had fallen silent. Many of the outer sect disciples, once shunned and forgotten, now trained under Wang Chung's guidance. The seal was gone. The Void Sovereign had returned—but this time, with purpose.

Wang Chung stood atop Skyfall Cliff, his robe whipping in the wind. Behind him, the loyal few kneeled—disciples, outcasts, and even some rogue cultivators who had heard the whispers of his rise.

> "You taught us to kneel," he said, staring into the horizon. "Now you'll learn how we stand."

Xian Yu stepped forward, her eyes sharp. "The Celestial Realms won't ignore this. Already, messengers from the other sects are probing our borders."

Wang Chung nodded. "Good. Let them come."

But deep inside, his memories stirred restlessly. He still didn't know who betrayed him before the seal was placed. The faces were vague. The pain, clear.

That night, beneath a sky full of stars, he meditated atop the Void Tablet. Visions struck like lightning.

A golden throne... blood-soaked petals... and a figure in white—smiling as a blade plunged into his back.

He gasped.

> "It was her..."
