Florence Fuller looked at her: "What, did she send you here?"
Laura Yates's expression froze, and she lowered her head guiltily.
"This was your choice. Coming to me now is useless, there's no chance to regret it."
"But didn't you ever...think about me when you did this? I... your father is going in, what...what should I do!" Laura sobbed.
Florence snorted coldly, with a mocking expression: "What should you do? Should I have let James Fuller run me down, let you use me as a tool for the Fuller Family's future and get nothing out of it, without being able to complain, right."
Laura hesitated: "That's not what I meant."
"That's exactly what you meant." Florence retorted: "Think about it, did you consider me back then? Now you see me as your biological daughter. What did you go do back then!"
Laura burst into tears.
Florence did not look at her: "I've already been kind enough to you. Please leave."
