Shang Ruyi paused, looking at him: "We? What do you mean 'we'?"
Jiang Xian hesitated slightly, glanced at Shang Ruyi, then shook his head: "It's nothing."
At that moment, a familiar low call sounded not far away. Turning to look, it was Jiang Yu calling him. Jiang Xian nodded in acknowledgment and turned to walk over. Shang Ruyi thought for a moment and followed him to the old man's side.
It had been a few days since they last met; Jiang Yu's graying hair and beard had grown considerably, appearing a bit disheveled due to lack of trimming. Yet, he still smiled warmly, with a sense of clarity in his eyes and a much-improved spirit. Upon seeing Shang Ruyi approach, he stood up, brushed the dust off his clothes, and smiled: "Young Madam."
Shang Ruyi said: "Old man, how is your health?"
"Much better, much better, thanks to Bodhisattva's blessings and Buddha's blessings."
