Ning Rongrong was truly the most talented disciple in the history of the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect. The sect had spared no expense in nurturing her, and she had consumed so much whale glue that she likely felt sick of it.

The first use of whale glue typically yielded remarkable results, but after multiple uses, Yang Xiong found the effects less pronounced. Even so, at his age, he had only used century-grade whale glue, with a single trial of millennium-grade. He had yet to dare touch ten-thousand-year whale glue. Still, his physical conditioning and soul power had improved significantly.

Ning Rongrong, with an innate soul power level of nine, became a soul master at six and absorbed her second soul ring shortly thereafter. By the age of nine, she had already reached level twenty. Clearly, whale glue had played a crucial role in her rapid advancement—her growth rivaled even Tang San's, who possessed full innate soul power.

In contrast, Yang Xiong was only at level fifteen, lagging five levels behind Ning Rongrong even without considering soul rings. The gap between their soul power had widened considerably since their initial awakening. However, within the class, Yang Xiong wasn't among the worst performers, as his ability to absorb higher-level soul rings helped bridge the gap with his peers.

Yang Xiong, however, had grown somewhat disoriented over the past few months while researching the Rasengan.

As the class troublemaker and self-proclaimed "big sister," Ning Rongrong naturally wanted to flaunt her achievements after becoming the first in the class to break through to the Soul Grandmaster rank.

Having absorbed a second soul ring and reached level twenty-two, she clearly surpassed the typical absorption limits. Her pride was evident as she strutted around the classroom with her nose in the air.

Yang Xiong now fully grasped the terrifying amplification potential of the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda Martial Soul.

As an exceptional auxiliary martial soul, the default amplification effect of the Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda was ten percent. Each additional soul ring allowed for the amplification of another attribute, and all previous attributes gained an additional ten percent boost.

Moreover, the amplification ignored the base difference between the user and the recipient. Regardless of the disparity in strength, the amplification remained constant. While the quality of soul rings didn't affect the amplification effect, higher-quality rings reduced soul power consumption when using soul skills.

Absorbing soul rings beyond one's limit improved their quality, making whale glue even more effective for Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda martial soul users than anticipated.

Despite having only two soul rings, Ning Rongrong could simultaneously amplify multiple people with excellent results and minimal personal consumption.

Witnessing Ning Rongrong's amplifications, Yang Xiong had a sudden flash of insight. Skipping class, he rushed to the seventh floor of the library and opened a book he had previously overlooked.

Yang Xiong had perused nearly every book on the top floor, all of which were priceless treasures. Yet, he had dismissed Heart Separation Control, believing it irrelevant to his Body Martial Soul.

This time, however, he opened the book with newfound appreciation, feeling as though he had uncovered a hidden gem.

Compared to the Hao Tian Sect's Nine Absolutes or the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan's Dragon Transformation, Heart Separation Control wasn't as renowned. It wasn't exclusive to the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect, but the sect had refined it to its peak, making it one of their supreme cultivation methods.

For the next period, Yang Xiong temporarily abandoned the Rasengan and focused on practicing Heart Separation Control.

The essence of Heart Separation Control lay in multitasking. Beginners aimed for dual focus, while masters like Ning Fengzhi achieved simultaneous sevenfold amplification, meticulously balancing soul power to minimize personal consumption while maximizing output.

In essence, Heart Separation Control tested both spiritual power and precise control over soul power.

The technique was divided into stages: Three Aperture Governing Heart, Four Aperture Constant Heart, Five Aperture Dispersed Heart, Six Aperture Wishful Heart, and Seven Aperture Exquisite Heart. These corresponded to the Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda Martial Soul's abilities, making it the most suitable skill for its users. However, the library's manual lacked the final two stages.

For Yang Xiong's current needs, it was sufficient. His goal was to refine his control over soul power. Moreover, he devised a unique training method.

During medicinal baths, he channeled soul power into his palms, manipulating the flow of water in the bathtub to make his soul power more structured and precise.

The deeper he delved into Heart Separation Control, the more he marveled at its demands. Though not inherently powerful, it required meticulous control over soul power. In terms of precision, Ning Fengzhi might even surpass some Title Douluos.

After months of study, Yang Xiong achieved the first stage: Three Aperture Governing Heart.

One day, Yang Xiong placed a water-filled balloon, about the size of his palm, before him. Summoning his Body Martial Soul, he held the balloon with both hands, transparent soul power emanating from each. Remarkably, the two streams of soul power cooperated, causing the balloon to float gently upward. Inside, the water began to rotate in a controlled pattern.

As more soul power infused, the balloon grew restless. The water spun like a vortex, and the balloon's surface expanded under the internal pressure.

This process was extremely taxing on both soul power and spiritual energy. Just as Yang Xiong neared exhaustion, the balloon exploded, releasing its water like a bomb.

Yang Xiong was elated. "It worked! The first stage of development is complete. I was right—the essence of soul power and chakra are the same, both forms of internal energy. Perhaps I can forge a new path in the world of soul masters."

Though still weak, Yang Xiong could only control soul power rotation with his hands. However, he believed that with diligent practice, he could refine it further, potentially creating the most terrifying soul skill in the soul master world.

Once he mastered the water-filled balloon, Yang Xiong moved on to the next stage: ball training.

Compared to balloons, balls were a hundred times harder, testing not only the precision of soul power control but also its strength.

Upon mastering ball training, completing the Douluo version of the Rasengan would be within reach.
