Hearing Qin Erwa's cries, Xinyan didn't feel the slightest guilt over making someone else's child cry.
It's really because this mother and son are quite irritating. Qin Erwa, spoiled by his mother, is unruly, impolite, and at a young age has developed habits of petty thievery.
Even so, his mother wouldn't let anyone criticize him. Whenever someone came to the door with a complaint, she'd argue even if she had no reason, becoming notoriously unreasonable.
Most importantly, she often uses scolding her son as a way to pressure others, like before. If it were a thin-skinned neighbor, they'd probably hand over food just to keep the peace. After succeeding many times, it became her tactic.
Xinyan wasn't having any of it. She enjoyed doing the opposite and loved watching the mother and son jump with anger.
