The night market street was bustling and lively, with a large crowd of people jostling past each other, noisy sounds in the air, with a hint of early summer's sultriness in the evening breeze.

Wandering through the crowd, Nora Scott paused her words, glancing at Clement Winter by her side.
"Surprised?" Clement turned her head slightly to look at her.
"Mm."
Nora Scott did not deny it.
Clement's unexpected assistance indeed surprised Nora.
After all, they only met by chance twice and hadn't formed any real friendship.
It would be understandable if she helped after some time had passed and they became acquainted.
